I wish I could give 10 ⭐️! Lory was exceptional! She picked us up at the bus stop in Palermo and brought us to the house. She lives in another unit so she was always available for questions and just to say hello. The home was perfect for us and our little dog. Lory gave us recommendations for shopping and restaurants. I wanted to buy special Sicilian pasta to bring home and Lory actually went out and bought it for me. She obviously takes pride in her work and home. We would stay there again when we come to Mondello. I highly recommend this home and location. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Marina’s tiny little hideaway is in the best location. There’s so much to see and do right around every corner, and you truly couldn’t ask for a better location. She also provides fresh fruit and some cold drinks if needed, which were very much appreciated. The place is clean and comfortable with a lot of beautiful old charm, but the amenities are modern. If you are not from the area and thinking of driving into the city, maybe think again. The driving is difficult and the city now has a ZTL zone enforcement, which means you have to go through a process of paying for entrance on each day (except Sundays). It’s not expensive but it’s a bit of a hassle, and more importantly, the driving is stressful. Note: This info is nothing to do with our lovely apartment specifically, but worth mentioning if anyone is planning on doing what we did.

My family of 12 had a great stay at Giovanni’s villa. It has plenty of space and common areas. The location is unbeatable. Once you walk outside of the villa, it’s 10 steps to the beach. Two things to note, which didn’t bother us but may for others….bed are not comfortable at all and the kitchen is quite small for such a large house. Like I said, it wasn’t an issue for us! Overall, we had such a great week and would come back in a heartbeat!

Piero was very helpful and answered all of our questions before arriving in Pollina. He’s very responsive and kind. The house was really great for its price. We were even able to invite two people from our family during our stay. Internet was a bit tricky but we were able to buy a SIM card with 250GB of internet so we were able to work and have meetings. We recommend Piero’s place to anyone who wants to visit Sicily. It’s a bit of a drive to get to the top but well worth it because of the views and the people in Pollina are warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back next time!

Bendetto and his family showed us real Sicilian hospitality! Amazing host and very helpful . The place is located in walking distance to the beach. The apartment is very spacious and everything needed is provided. We had a great time !

Brilliant place to stay with fantastic, kind host. Lots of garden space and huge pool. Host was so helpful and relaxed helping us out all the time. Lyra the dog was so fun and friendly. Kids loved playing with her. Short drive from loads of beaches, restaurants etc. highly recommend!

Fantastic host. Picked us up and took us to the airport. Available and responded promptly to messages. 5* service given by Salvatore. The view is amazing ! You get plenty of sunshine in the morning. There is a road below the apartment before you get to the pebbly beach which can be loud at times but after a while you forget about it because it is an otherwise peaceful place with a great view and is relaxing. The town is about 30 minute drive away, there are no nearby shops or restaurants to walk to but there is a food delivery service which came in handy. Overall wonderful stay, I would go back !

Thank you for the beautiful accommodation. The place is beautifully located with a great view of the sea and the mountains! The pool was a welcome cooling off in the temperatures! Flavia has wonderful tips for things to do and restaurants.

Antonio’s place is an like an oasis of peace and beauty from busy life! The view is literally to die for!! Antonio and his sister were always helpful giving recommendations and even helping us organise a boat to rent in off season! There is a beautiful beach 5 minutes walking down the hill, and besides that there is hardly anyone or anything - super peaceful and private! We loved watching the sunrise and spending time in the nearby village!

Gaetano’s place was like a peaceful oasis - the property was very well manicured and the pool crystal clear and inviting. Gaetano is very friendly, accommodating and responsive. We had planned to stay for just one night after arriving in Palermo before moving on, but we enjoyed it and found it so relaxing that we asked to stay a second night. The first room we stayed in ended up having a plumbing issue, but Gaetano had it fixed immediately after we informed him and found a different apartment for us to stay for the second night - he is so helpful! We also enjoyed having access to bikes - Gaetano made sure they were in good condition for us so we could ride to the beach and bakery. We’ll definitely stay again the next time we visit Palermo!

Cetty is TERRIFIC. A truly wonderful human being who was very helpful during our stay. If we had a question, she was quick to guide us. Easy commute to city center /Palermo as well as airport and other ar as of western Sicily. Highly recommend !!

Great central location but tucked away behind an old wooden door in a quiet courtyard, the accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean and full of quirky charm. So many roof terraces- we didn’t have time to use them! Our only issue was carting our suitcases up the stairs - travelling light was not our strong point! Fiorella was super-helpful, very accommodating, and easy to contact at any time.

We chose this place for its rustic country vibe and also for the chance at some local cooking. We signed up for the "rustic farmer" menu and we had so much fun. We learned how to season dishes, use wild herbs and prepare sauces the Sicilian way. I cook a great variety of foods at home, but this half-day experience was unique to the region's gastronomic culture. Also we loved cooking and eating with our hosts, we had a blast! Lastly, the cottage itself is adorable and we enjoyed reading books by the fire and unwinding after our touring. We highly recommend this place and signing up for the extra cooking class of your choice.

Gabriele's place is very nice, very clean, carefully decorated, with lots of utensils. There are many more things than mentioned in the listing, it was a pleasant surprise. We didn't miss a thing. Gabriel is very available and responds very quickly to any questions. We are really delighted with our stay at Gabriele's place.

Hi Luisa. Thank you for the stay. Lovely to meet Father Dino, Maggie, and Schallaci grocer! I second a reviewer, Luisa's home one of the best on Air BnB! Home is tucked away, just behind piazza. Comfortable, amenities simple, books to read and wondeful terrace patio. Great shower! Stayed for December and weather was beautiful. Walking to piazza and churches and movie theater! Taking the 806 bus easy ride into Palermo center, and from there walking the city. Convenient to train to airport and Cefalu. 🤗

Apartment equipped with every recently renovated comfort,very spacious suitable for families with children but also for copies of friends because it has an en-suite bathroom; very clean . We loved our stay here. Fabio was the best host. I had so many questions that he graciously and promptly helped me with. He went above and beyond with recommendations for the local area. The house was perfect. The outside kitchen/dining area was our favorite. The community pool was gorgeous and just steps away. The home is located in a quiet gated neighborhood and provided plenty of privacy. We’d love to visit again!

apartment on three levels, with independent entrance, comfortable and equipped. Central neighborhood, but very quiet location of the house, even on the night of December 31 we rested without problems. Contacts with Claudio were easy and punctual, a great experience!
