This was a nice and comfortable spot to stay with our dogs over the holidays. Our hosts even shoveled the place out on Christmas Eve after a snowstorm, and they were laid back and flexible. Thanks!

We had a wonderful getaway. The home was well taken care of, clean, and nicely decorated. The water views, sunsets, and sunrises were picture perfect. If you are a light sleeper, there is a horn that goes on periodically through the night. You may want to sleep in the back bedroom if that will bother you. We would stay here again. It was peaceful.

Cozy, clean two-bedroom in Old Town, ME—perfect for our visit to UMaine’s Accepted Students Day. Comfortable for three adults and a dog, with a well-equipped kitchen and easy access to campus. Great stay!

We stayed at Sabrina's place for 2 nights while visiting Acadia. The property is very private and quiet. it had a view of the cove right behind the house. We enjoyed going out there to see the sunrise. The house is very clean and organized. It had everything we needed for out stay. I would recommend this if your looking for a place away from the crowds of Acadia National Park.

Kinfolk cottage was fabulous! Beautiful home, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, large dining area, and a lovely backyard with fire pit and hammock! Wish we could have stayed longer it was a true home away from home! Perfect for our family getaway to Acadia. Walkable to town and minutes to the park. Anne was a lovely host and was very responsive! Even my kids commented on how great the house was compared to other Airbnb experiences! We hope to return next year! Thank you Anne!

This farm house was full of good vibes. Check in and check out was a breeze. Nothing complicated there. The experience exceeded our expectations and the pictures don’t truly show off how beautiful and serene this place is. Every window has its own special and unique view of the elegantly laid out property. Our son had a thrilling time sledding down the hill right outside the property. If you are into great beer, grilling, hiking and being transported back to the 90s this place is for you! IMDb you do happen to get bored there are tons of VHS tapes to your heart’s content. The nearby town is also a great place to go get lost in. Overall we really loved this place. It has something for everyone and we can’t wait to come back next year

The place is great, low key neighborhood. The unit was clean and cozy. The hot tub was awesome and I would imagine the pool would be just as nice if our visit was not during February! Will definitely think about going again when a night or two away is wanted.

Perfect spot for family and friends to do everything needed to relax and have fun. Huge swimming pool, relaxing hot tub, board games, and tons of space to sleep many guests. We will bring more next time!

We used the Jarvis Homestead for our friends and family to stay the week of our micro wedding. This space was everything we needed it to be. It was very clean and well kept, has tons of space, and was a beautiful environment for a wedding reception afterward. It does have some quirks as it is an old home such as doors opening and closing well and light switches being finicky; however, we had no issues while we were there and would absolutely stay again.

The lawn cottage was perfect for our family (2 adults, 1 child and 1 medium sized dog). The cottage was very comfortable and has a stunning view. The larger property it's on was very dog friendly. The pool and hot tub in the hotel were very clean and fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make full meals (Thanksgiving dinner!). Overall, this is an excellent place for a vacation, especially with a pet and a child.

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! We had a lovely time and we would most definitely come back!!! 🥰

This lovely apartment directly overlooking the park in downtown Bar Harbor was the perfect place for our family. With grandparents, parents, two small children, and a chihuahua, we had room to spread out, sleep comfortably, walk to the beach and the park, shop, and eat wonderful food and ice cream. I would want others to know that the stairs up to the apartment are steep, a tiny bit tricky for the senior with bad knees and the toddlers with short legs. The apartment has a Smart TV, which wasn't really watchable for us. If they had cable it would have been just perfect! Overall, this place was in a dream location and afforded all of us a chance to relax and enjoy the gorgeous fall weekend in Maine.

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

This place is a gem! Anthony was a wonderful, friendly host. The property was clean, modern, and spacious. Remote enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to necessary amenities (like groceries), and just under and hour drive to Acadia National Park! Wouldn't hesitate to consider rebooking for a trip in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samantha's place in Cushing. To say that she is "very responsive" would be an understatement. She typically responded within 10 minutes no matter what my question was. She lives a short distance away which really helped facilitate things. We had a minor issue with the Internet which required communication with the service provider, but she coordinated everything and resolved it right away. The house is totally charming - old, a bit creaky and adorable - and well maintained (no issues there). We imagined how great it would be to visit in wintertime and snuggle up to a roaring fire. They have an expansive yard with gardens great for a short evening stroll. Forest habitat behind the property was great for bird watching. The area is absolutely beautiful - quintissential coastal Maine. The Olson House (local attraction) is a few minutes drive from the house. The grounds have a walking trail along the water with fantastic views of the coast.

What an amazing time I had at this place! I got married to my best friend and we had our families joined together! Everyone cooking every night, beach walks, board games, and fires for when it got a little cold. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding week! We enjoyed our stay at Amy’s! It was very private and peaceful. The drive in and out each day had stunning views. It was the perfect spot to come back to after a long day hiking. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We appreciated the coffee provided!! Laundry was a huge perk for us as well. Our first trip to Maine was amazing!!

Kimberly is a wonderful host! She made sure to check in with us and see that everything was fine, and informed us well about how to get to the home as well as all the amenities available to us and other things to watch out for (such as being off the grid, etc.). I would definitely come back again!
