Secret Water At Four Little Trees

RuthRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We've just come back from a great few days at Secret Water. There were six of us and the space worked really well. The warm, well-equipped kitchen had a big table with plenty of chairs, so that when somebody was cooking, we all sat around the table chatting, and nobody was left alone preparing food. When we weren't in the kitchen, we were in the living room, which was also a great size, with plenty of seating and a wood burner for cosy evenings. The bedrooms were very well-proportioned and comfortable. However, the highlight was the wood-fired hot tub, which was the icing on the cake. We fired it up and sat out in it for ages in near-freezing air temperatures, with clear, star-filled skies above us. It was just wonderful. Unsurprisingly, there was also Prosecco involved. Our main contact for the holiday was Lucy and any queries we had were answered promptly, but at no time were the owners intrusive at all. All-in-all, it was an excellent time. Thank you Lucy, Paul and Tessa.

We had an amazing stay at Maya and Robin’s beautiful cabin! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the cabin itself was spotless, cosy, and welcoming—especially with the fireplace already lit when we arrived. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Maya and Robin were fantastic hosts, incredibly kind and thoughtful. The enclosed garden was a huge bonus, giving my dogs plenty of space to roam and relax. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat/getaway - we'll definitely be coming back!

Lovely house in an incredible location. We had a fantastic stay. You’re right on the coastal path and can walk to a beautiful cove in 15 minutes and Solva in 40. Elizabeth’s house is beautifully decorated and fit us all comfortably. The kids loved the swing (as did the adults!) and the cot/highchair was a welcome addition for the baby. Elizabeth was very responsive if we needed things like extra dishwasher tablets.

Worth every star. What a lovely place, we can’t wait to return. Friendly, helpful hosts, the location was spot on for us, it was quiet and peaceful and we could also walk down to Amroth front easily - about 20mins/35 with the 6 year-old! The cottage itself is very cosy and chocolate box , and Dave’s carpentry talents add a unique character and charm. It’s stocked with what we needed and with some extra little friends (Oaty and Tink) we had a blast 🩷🩷

The jacuzzi was just what we needed after a whole day out, great indoor swimming as well! The property is beautiful. My 5 years old daughter felt in love with the place and specifically with Hazel! We stayed in Faenor farm for a week. The check-in was nice and easy very clear instructions on how to get to the property, good internet access. Very good restaurants, and local shops just 15 minutes drive! We are definitely coming back! Ohh and you’ve got to see the 3 gorgeous sheep Larry, Kevin and Jonty and let’s not forget about Matilda the duck! Thank you so much Hazel and David for making our stay so amazing! Xx
