Stamatis House - In the center of Lakka Paxos

We stayed 5 days and we loved the place,felt comfortable immediately. Stamatis place is located in the heart of the Lakka but with a closed windows you can't hear a sound so we as a light sleepers had a realy good sleep. Place was as it was descriped and as on photos. It was very clean and well equipped. Additionally Stamatis was very helpful with a small issue we had, which we appreciate very much. We definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Nafsika's Cottage - Paxos Warehouse

We spent an idyllic 'out-of-season' week at Nafsika's Cottage (aka Dionysia's place). The space is perfectly balanced, with two nice-sized bedrooms (one with en suite bathroom) on either side of a generous, high-ceilinged living area. Fixtures, fittings, bathrooms are all in good order and modern but also sympathetic to the historic detailing (stone walls, wood-beamed ceilings). The sizeable outdoor space, with a dining table and loungers, gives onto a lovely sea view, even though the cottage is located in the centre of the island. We especially loved the quiet and solitude of the setting at the top of an historic village most tourists will only every pass through on their way to somewhere else. Beautiful walks in every direction, and myriad beaches (including stunning Erimitris Beach) are only a few minutes away by scooter/car. Finally, Dionysia was a wonderfully responsive and friendly host, answering any questions we had within minutes. This place is a gem.

Very nice cottage in a lovely peaceful spot with beautiful sea views. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t have a car and used the donkey track to go down to the village which was fine in the day but a little more sketchy in the dark - I would probably recommend getting a car or moped so you don’t have to rely on the taxis as there’s only 5 on the island (although they were generally good)

This is our 2nd time here and it remains a firm favourite. For a family of 5 with 3 teenagers we all have our own space, bathrooms and toilets are enough for us all and it’s got everything we need. The heat of the day can be escaped in the cool kitchen and although in the heart of this wonderful place little of the sound gets into the house unless you want it to. A welcoming platter of fruit was appreciated and the house cleaned once during our 2 week stay. Washing machine is a godsend and plenty of sizde to dry laundry in the sunshine. The neighbours are also wonderful as is the bakery right next door!! Thank you so much for having us.

The place is lovely, super quiet and a massive garden to relax in. It's very pretty. The stay was very very nice and we'd head back in a heartbeat. Some things to be aware of just in advance which will make your stay the best it can be: the location on the map is slightly different to where it actually is. Not too far out but enough so it is tricky to walk. Secondly, unless you plan to just visit the town and one of the small beaches, then you 100% need a car. It is actually a little waste not to rent a car as the beaches on Paxos are unreal! But do add this into your planning. Rania was very sweet and she'd also stocked the place nicely upon arrival which was a nice touch. Whether you are a two or a four, you'll have plenty of space. It really is a beautiful place.

A truly wonderful home managed by a lovely and very friendly family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Maison. The home was located in a very peaceful and private setting surrounded by olive trees and within walking distance from a beautiful cove for swimming and a short hike from an ancient hilltop cistern with an incredible view of the coastline. The home itself was spacious and beautifully decorated. It was one of the nicest AirBNB's we have ever stayed in and we look forward to returning one day. The home is also centrally located, just a short drive from Gaios and provides easy access to other areas of Paxos by car. Lefteris and his family were incredibly welcoming and also own a boat rental business which I highly recommend. One of the highlights of our week long stay in Paxos was the private boat tour of the island and anti-Paxos skippered by Lefteri's father Christos. In addition to viewing the beauty of the coastline, Christos provided a wonderful history of the island.

If it was possible to give Stavros 100 Stars then I would. :-) My dog Frida loved it there, she wandered around in the garden all day! I traveled without a car and this is definitely possible. You just need to like walking and hiking as it goes up and down. :-) I am a slow hiker because Frida loves to stop and look at everything. To Erimitis beach we needed a bit more than an hour, to the bakery and the supermarket about 40 minuten and to Logos about 1 hour 20 minuten. There is also a small supermarket not far away (about 20 minutes) and a taverna. When I walked to Gaios I did not feel like walking back so I asked the taxi driver Nikos to take me back. It was only 10 € so I asked him to take me to Gaios again another day so I can take the boat to Antipaxos and when I was back in Gaios I bought a lot of groceries and we put it all inside his car. So for that day the taxi was 20 € and the boat to Antipaxos 3 € so all together perfecly fine! I really cannot say anything negative. :-)
