I stayed here with some girlfriends for my 40th birthday and it was the perfect getaway for a girls weekend! The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Linens and beds were cute, cozy, and so comfortable. The whole cabin was so cute and met our needs really well. We had a few questions throughout our stay and Ashley was very quick to respond which we appreciated. We loved getting to use the fire pit and enjoyed several walks around the property as well as sitting by the pond. I would definitely recommend Ashley’s to anyone looking for a country getaway that’s also close to Lincoln. I would definitely stay again!

I wish we could give 10 stars, this place was absolutely amazing and Linda was so friendly and accommodating. The cabin itself is perfect for a couple or solo traveler and has every comfort you could possibly ask for (including a washer and dryer!) Linda’s communication was beyond top notch and she really cares about her guests and their comfort. The only downside of this place is that it’s not located closer to us because if it was, we would stay as often as possible! We found this place after reading negative reviews about hotels in the area and I’m so glad we booked it! Will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to everyone traveling to the area!

Very nice place and spacious. It has all the necessities for a comfortable stay. It deserves about 4.8 out of 5 stars. Note the front door key/lock did not function and thankfully the cleaning lady was able to provide a key since the owners are out of state.

We had so much fun at your beautiful home!! I’m sure it would have been even more fun if it was the right time of year for swimming but maybe we will be back!! The house is spacious, clean, and includes all the extras! There’s plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate a large group. We loved the pool table, playing ping pong, being able to listen to music, play games, and have two TVs when we couldn’t agree on which football game to watch! :) The kitchen was well stocked and everything labeled. I forgot garlic and was relieved to see that some of the staples were provided! Thanks for making our family Christmas memorable!! The Christmas tree even made it feel more festive. Brandy is super responsive and everything went smoothly!! Thanks for accommodating our request!! Highly recommend!!!

Great little getaway spot on a peaceful lake. We sat on the dock and looked up at the stars without city light pollution, built a fire, went fishing and grilled some steaks. The amenities at “the cottage” were plentiful with a few bonuses like very tall ceilings, a very new and functional air/heat machine, a wine tasting, no bugs or ant issues at all and even a few friendly cats who came to say hello. We plan to stay here again in the future and are thankful to Brad and his family for hosting such a nice retreat!

Being from Kansas City and needing to venture northland for a funeral in the Tarkio/Westboro/Rockport area, our host took away any anxiety we had about the geographically unknown area. Our host made it so easy to find, the property was remodeled beautifully and the comforts and decor allowed us to take our concern away from where to stay and concentrate on why we were there, for our beautiful family friend that recently passed. Our hearts were heavy, but our surroundings felt like home with all the comforts of such. We slept so well, felt 100% safe, and all the furniture was clean, comfortable and very cozy. Thank you for everything and if we ever want/need to stay in the area, this will be our first choice!
