Beautiful place in a great location. Had everything you could need and was very homey!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. This was our fourth time staying here. Every time has been exceptional. Wonderfully cozy and peaceful. Plenty of room for family get-togethers and dinners. Easy to find, with an outstanding view of the mountains from the front porch.

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend. Close to the Parkway and several places to eat from fancy to low key within a few minutes. This is an older home that made me feel like I was at grandmas. I kept waiting to find something wrong but in the end will be going back for sure.

Absolutely perfect stay at Amy's beautiful home nestled in the mountains of Virginia. If you're looking for a place that is peaceful, serene, and CLEAN then this is the place for you. HUGE thank you to Amy, what an amazing host. Your attention to detail, clean linens, comfortable beds, and overall effort put into this property did not go unnoticed. And one more thanks for accommodating our late check out as well, we made memories here that will last a lifetime and we will certainly be back again! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

Lovely private home in the mountains. Rained all weekend but not the host's fault of course. The heat worked great. Kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked almost every meal. Driveway is steep but doable.

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

We had an excellent experience staying at Glenna’s historic home. It has been lovingly taken care of and furnished, everything was as expected or better. She also provided a pack’n’ play for our little one, which made traveling that much easier. We would definitely stay here again! ❤️

Absolutely loved staying in this rekindled cornerstone. Wonderfully modern, extremely spacious and comfortable, and could not be easier to find. Our dogs loved this place as well! Sincere thanks to the Allegheny team for allowing pets. Our entire family felt right at home and we'd love to stay here again.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

The beautiful view coupled with a quiet neighborhood were welcomed. However, what I appreciate the most is the thoughtfulness that invited you into every room, such as the complementary toiletries in case you forgot something, the full dishware in the kitchen, or the mints on the dresser. It was the perceft place for our weekend. I will definitely stay again!

We have stayed at Kathleen’s condo numerous times, and it is always perfect! The kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked, the bedding is comfortable, and the whole condo feels like home away from home. Kathleen is an attentive and friendly host. We look forward to going back!

Five times in and Matt/Krista’s place is a little slice of heaven. This gem at Smith Mountain Lake isn’t the biggest out there, but it’s ideal to get away for few days to rest and recuperate. The view is simply to die for and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back a 6th time!
