Vijeesh was very responsive even before I arrived since I had missed my train and he found me a driver in no time to take me to his guesthouse. Super welcoming, with a lot of humor and attentive to these visitors. The bedroom on the ground floor has a nice small terrace.

The property is an oasis of serenity in the chaotic world. Greenery, waters and crickets chirping at night while you are having deliciously cooked meal - all this can be found here. The place has all the amenities. Binduraj is a brilliant host. Right from the point before arrival till the point we left the property he guided us. He personally took us on boat ride to see sun rise in pristine Ashtamudi lake, took us for village walk and arranged tasty meals as per our liking by going extra mile for getting the fishes. He is a skilled photographer as well. He suggested us places to take photos and even clicked beautifully for us. He uses his network of acquaintances and friends to arrange things you need like booking transportation, planning ahead itinerary etc. It was nice meeting and talking to him.

We found the place extremely beautiful. Comfortable and spacious room surrounded by loads of greenery. Ajith also arranged a sunrise boat ride for us which was memorable. As a host he was always available and gave some very helpful tips to explore the area. His wife Anjana is a brilliant cook and the authentic kerela cuisine served by her was an added bonus to our stay. Both were very warm to welcome us throughout and made sure our stay was pleasant. Thanks a lot to both of you. We sincerely recommend staying here when visiting to Munroe island.

Govind is indeed a superhost. Right from the booking till we checked out, he was always responsive. The sunrise canoe ride from his place was awesome. Special mention to the boat driver for making the drive memorable. Food served was really homely. Drive with Govind to the hidden spots like the Dutch church and sunset bridge were the highlights. Amazing stay for families and kids, we were two families travelling and wanted to stay in between to rest and then continue our journey, this was a perfect place like our own house with all amenities, we prepared food in kitchen and kids were happy and all rested well. Location is near mavelikkara junction with all shops nearby, roadside property and easily connected.

I had a most incredible experiences at Munroe Garden homestay. I stayed here 4 nights. Friendly Deepa and her husband welcome me with great pleasure. Due to my hectic online tutoring I wanted a good wifi and it was there though out my stay. The Islands tranquil atmosphere, serene greenery due to rain and very warm hostility made me feel like I was in a great place. I had an great opportunity to celebrate Deepa's birthday at an old aged home and had a great fun with those beautiful people and had lunch together. Canoeing through tranquil water ways with her father offered a unique and peaceful experiences and allowing me to connect with nature. I explored the senic Islands with a bicycle offered by the host. I enjoyed every bite of home-made traditional Kerala food during my stay. Lastly I want to express my deepest gratitude for the warm hospitality and love all the family members shared with me during my stay. Your kindness made me feel like part of the family. Love to come again.

If I could, i would leave a 7 star review! The place is amazing! The host is extremely welcoming and she made sure that we had the most comfortable stay. The property is so well maintained, it’s a perfect place to relax an cut off from the daily hustle, will definitely recommend sicy’s place and I’m sure to be coming back here every time I visit! I cannot say enough positive things about Daniel and his property! From the very beginning, he was super responsive and helpful, answering all my questions and making the booking process a breeze. When my guest arrived at the property, they were blown away by how beautiful and well-maintained it was. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the amenities were top-notch.
