The stay was great, Luiz and Dani conducted the entire booking process very well and so on. Homemade Rose was super professional at checkin and check-out, all as agreed, no problem!

A few friends and I stayed here and enjoyed every minute. The host is very helpful and responsive, it's minutes aways from two grocery stores and I felt safe every minute. The house was beautiful and it was an over all enjoyable experience.

This was my first time in Brazil and it was phenomenal. I will be back as soon as possible now. What made it even better was this home that I stood in the host was phenomenal responsive the house was spectacular. I couldn’t have chose a better place to stay when I come back to Brazil I will try to book this home again.

Marcia was a responsive and helpful host and the caretakers of the property were friendly and kind. We had a couple of issues with the equipment in the home and Andrea was persistent and resolved it for us in a timely matter. I would come back every time I visit Rio.

Beautiful home and hostess, high ceilings and unique space made for a beautiful stay

At first I was afraid to close the stay because the house met in the community, but from the beginning Jorge always took all my doubts and informed that the house was in the main avenue. . I simply felt like home and wanted to live there hahahaha, Jorge received me and the other members with beers (which I found kindness) and with the impeccable house. The house is close to the market, bakery, winery, and the mototaxi pass every minute to go up to the house or descend to the square of Vidigal! Only close that I guarantee you won't regret it.

Beautiful house, spacious and very quiet place. The village met perfectly the purpose that my family and I sought, comfort, security and tranquility. Bárbara and Bruno were great hosts, kind and always responded quickly! I want to come back now!!

Cláudia was super helpful to prepare the house for our arrival. The condominium is well located and the access was made quietly. Positive point for absolute quiet. The house is very well equipped, with air conditioning, barbecue and a full kitchen. I recommend it 100%.

A secluded safe condominium haven close drive to the beach and all necessities. A stunning garden and tasteful, impeccably up-kept house with best linen I’ve experienced in airbnb. Pool and luscious garden setting was a bliss. Lucia was an amazing host, I am very happy to have spent a week there! Absolutely recommend.

Rafael was super attentive from the beginning, we arrived late because the flights were delayed and we didn't put any problems, it was more easy for us to enter. For the time of departure as we were carrying backpacks, he left us to leave them to pick them up in the afternoon. He also had the detail to leave cold water in the fridge that with the summer heat of the river was very much appreciated.

The house is wonderful! Extremely well equipped, served 15 people perfectly! The host is also a sweetheart!! We would come back again for sure!!

Very cozy space, we are pleased with the accommodation. We thank the Anfritian Danilo and the employee Tati for the impeccable reception, always very helpful and attentive. And we recommend the stay and hopefully return soon.

Stéphane, the owner, was very welcoming, agreeing to anticipate the check-in time. He took us around the neighborhood to show us the points of interest, shops, restaurants etc. The house is very large and each room has a bathroom. Nevertheless, it should be noted that only 1 bedroom has air conditioning. The others have fans (this was enough at the end of December). Also to be specified: a room is below, accessible by the courtyard. This room is really very small (single bed and little space around the bed). We prefer to let future guests know , but in no way did it spoil our stay. Again Stephane was always available and kind to us and was always very responsive. The accommodation is very well located in Santa Teresa Certainly the metro is not close (25 min walk) but Uber is the best option to get around Rio (fast and cheap)

Comfortable apartment in a good location and a kind and available host

Our stay was amazing! We were a group of 11 people there for a bachelor party and had a blast. a 10-minute walk to either beach. It does sit up a hill which is lined with amazing local bars and restaurants. We had a wonderful time with the locals. Regarding Ubers and taxi, depends on the driver whether they will go up the hill or not, I would say 85% of our drivers went up the hill. The house was great. With 11 people we had plenty of space. It is a converted apartment complex, so each room is its own studio apartment. We were there in the summer and the AC was cold in the rooms Our host Sam, great! From a service to door standpoint, top-notch. He arranged transportation, fully stocked house with water, Gatorade, beers, fruits, and snacks and arranged a suite for soccer at Maracana. One of the best sporting events in my life. Thanks, Sam! Albeit at the base of the favelas we felt safe and were treated very well, if paid any attention at all.

I went for the second done in the accommodation and I feel at home. Jandira welcomed us with great affection and attention, the house is extremely wide, comfortable, with all the necessary utensils, with commerce in the nearby community and easy access to copacabana and part of the Lagoa neighborhood. I will definitely go other times, the two groups of friends who went with me the first and second time loved as well and we will always recommend. Super fair price for a location in the south of Rio de Janeiro and note 5 stars for everything!! I only have to thank and exalt.

It's a different experience than expected, but it makes you see the reality of Brazil. At first it is a bit concerning but as the days passed it was becoming more common. In general it is a safe and very friendly favela, with restaurants nearby and easily accessible from the Plaza de Vidigal. If you really want to know what Rio is (not only are tourist sites) and its people, you must surely stay in Casa dos Micos. Also, nowhere else will you be able to find Micos outside your window. Jean was an excellent host, he was always open to questions of all kinds and is a very friendly person.
