Vacation rentals in Parksville

The location was convenient and peaceful, close to Haines and Kaaterskill Falls. We enjoyed a lovely time in the hot tub under the stars. It is very family-friendly.

We stayed Nov 7-10th. The house is wonderful – everything you need is there – and the area is absolutely sublime. We kayaked the lake twice, lazed in the hammock and the 2 person ‘rocking’ chair, used the jacuzzi and generally chilled. Used the firepit down by the lake one night and the one closer to the house as well. Abundance of kindling in the area and Steven provides logs for the inside fireplace. Beds were, I-don’t-want-to-get-out-of-them comfortable … pillows too. Used the wifi without a problem and could have watched TV, but we chose to try and mostly disconnect. Steven was always communicating faster than me … answering any questions and ensuring that we had everything we needed to have a fantastic time. We were a little concerned about the area, but there are many good hikes (Mongaup River Trail is nice, easy and pretty), the views of the Delaware are awesome and we found some really, really good food – Forage Pizza, Foxwood & Fig -- in particular. We highly recommend!

We had a great time staying in this beautiful and comfortable space. It had everything we could hope for and was perfectly clean. The air felt and smelled fresh as we walked in the door. It was spacious and well appointed with extras like condiments, games and puzzles. There was a dog gate and potty bags in case we brought our pets. We didn’t bring ours this time but might in the future because we definitely want to stay here again. There were plenty of clean linens and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. The coffee was delicious and there was tea too. We didn’t use the air fryer, but it was nice to have that and the gas stove in case we wanted to cook. Thank you for a great stay!

Nothing less than amazing! What a great place; eclectic, retro, fun! I booked this place for my boyfriend's birthday, and he was so pleased. We loved playing pool while listening to the vinyl records, and soaking in the hot tub (in 12 degree weather) while watching the meteor shower. Super convenient being only a 7 minute drive to town and 12 minutes from Overlook Mountain; a beautiful hike. Jon, a co-host of the home, could not have been more amazing. Beyond nice with fantastic recommendations for food and recreation. We visited all 4 of his restaurant recommendations and were so pleased with everyone of them. He also responded immediately when texted/emailed. I 100% recommend Jill and Kerry's home. If we make it back to Woodstock, we will definitely book their place again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Simon's place was great! You walk in and it doesn't seem like anyone has ever been there it is so clean. The yard was beautiful and snowy when we went, so it was fun to play in the snow with the kids and dogs. Simon was super responsive, and his place was just very comfortable and inviting. Would definitely return!

Cute cabin tucked away in the Catskills, not too far from lots of different hiking trails. Hot tub was great, outside area was very peaceful at night, and I felt very cozy the whole time. There is a wood burner in the bedroom but be careful if you feed it too much it the room gets VERY warm haha. Overall a lovely experience, and the host is a nice guy, super communicative and accommodating.

We had a great stay! Kristin was very communicative, answering questions quickly and providing clear instructions. I would definitely recommend staying here and would book again in the future!

We had an amazing weekend there! Nice and quiet place…. My Mom forgot her glasses and Charles was able to mail me it! Him was very helpful in everything.. Of course we are going to schedule another time!

The cabin was everything we were looking for! Cozy, clean, peaceful and just like the photos. Very welcoming, we look forward to staying here again.
