Vacation rentals in Parikino

We were very busy with family events during our stay so we didn't really get the full beach/Bach experience. We did love our morning beachcombing and would love to stay there again for longer especially in summer. Recommended for that classic kiwi Bach holiday!

10/10 - A Wonderful Stay! We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, very quiet, and easy to locate, making our trip stress-free from the moment we arrived. All of the facilities were in great condition and impeccably clean, which made us feel instantly comfortable and at home. The well-fitted kitchen was a great bonus, with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. The smart TVs in the house were another fantastic feature, allowing us to unwind with our favorite shows after a day of exploring. One of the highlights for us was being able to bring our dog along. It’s not always easy to find places that are pet-friendly, and Jo was incredibly welcoming and accommodating of our furry friend, which made our trip even more special. We were also lucky to enjoy some incredible views of Mount Ruapehu during our stay – a real treat! The peaceful surroundings and the beautiful scenery made this the perfect getaway.

This place would have to be one of my favourite Air BnBs I have stayed in. Hamish’s place is so well designed and decorated and the space has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view out the window of the snow capped mountains also made the stay even more magical. Wish we stayed longer. Would definitely highly recommend this place and would definitely be keen to come back again in the future.

This is a true gem. We were travelling as a family with two kids and Rachels house was perfect to take a rest and enjoy facilities like the hot tub and the big patio. Easy to go to the beach and playground in Wanganui. Highly recommend this place, thank you very much.

Excellent wee spot for our family and furry friend. Ohakune is a great place to visit any time of year. Lots of outdoor activities. Aroha cottage is gorgeous, clean and beautifully renovated. Fully fenced and lovely and private. Super sharp knives in the kitchen too - you often don’t get that in a bach! Really appreciated the later checkout of 11am, which just makes the pack up a little more relaxed with kids and a pet. Thank you

I liked the open floor plan kitchen, living room, and back deck's view so much that I thought more than once, wow, what if we lived here and got to wake up to that view every day? How peaceful that might be; sitting outside with a morning cuppa, something to read, and the majestic mountains to marvel. There was plenty of room for our party of 4, and it looks like even more could stay for a ski trip split. 2 separate bathrooms made privacy easier than our own home in Auckland. We walked for anything we needed, other than our shuttle to the Tongariro Crossing and a drive to Whakapapa to hike. Sally's messages were clear, timely, and helpful, making check-in and changing reservations easy. We knew where to turn, where to get the key, and about the water and washer. Nothing much asked of us so we got to come and go without any fuss. Would easily stay here again.

Enjoyable stay, place as described, clean, tidy, with all of the amenities you would expect. Nicely setup making our stay very pleasant. Friendly host, who was great to deal with, happy to recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent place—I would say even better and more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It is modern, clean, warm, well-equipped, and really big. There were just four of us, but I think a group twice as big could be comfortable there. The spa pool was a wonderful feature. Thank you for hosting us, Lindsay!

We came as a group of 6 for a relaxing hens do and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a beautiful spot for our summer trip and we could see how well it would accommodates the winter skiers too. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay at a cosy, clean place with stunning views. Chris was also lovely to deal with.

Clean and organized. Mattress was comfortable. Stocked wooden fireplace even in the summer for that extra chilly night. Fully featured kitchen with all the tools and appliances we needed for a yummy NYE meal.
