A lovely apartment in the beautiful mountain village of Portilla de la Reina. Rossana was very kind and helpful and met us when we arrived. The surrounding area is fantastic for all lovers of mountains and nature. We were only there for two nights but would have happily stayed for a week. Good local restaurant as well.

A beautiful mountain house

The house is as nice as it appears in the photos and the setting is quiet and you can breathe very well. The garden to spend time in, play and barbecue is very nice. The owners are charming, they were there for us when we needed them and they also gave us our space. A really recommended place!

We had a great time at the house. Very cozy and everything first-class, as offered in the listing. The location is ideal to disconnect and enjoy nature with very nice and welcoming neighbors. The hosts are very close and communicative, facilitating the arrival and explaining the details of the house. We definitely recommend it and would stay at this house again.

A friendly and helpful host at all times, ready to answer our questions who explained in detail the important aspects of the house. The room has many rooms, perfect for large groups. The living room is somewhat small but is compensated with a spacious outdoor patio, the best part of the house. I would definitely repeat.

The house is great to spend a few quiet days and visit the area, everything is very clean and cared for, it has the essentials but it is true that we miss an oven. Getting there and being able to turn on the fireplace or give yourself a relaxing bath in the hot tub is welcome. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. Let's repeat!

Lovely apartment very well equipped with amazing views The electoral radiators were a godsend for when the communal heating wasn’t on The apartment is lovely and it was a nice touch to have the essentials as we arrived late Commutation was great and Begoña even let us know about the evens going on Thoroughly recommended

La casuca is a beautiful house and very spacious in a great environment. The bathroom is huge and very comfortable and has three very spacious bedrooms with a large living room. It has WIFI which is greatly appreciated since at night we enjoyed a movie on the smart tv in the living room. The feeling of freedom in such a spacious house makes the stay in the house a lot to enjoy. The area is very quiet.

House matches the photos, very nice and very cool when it's more than 40° outside! Having a self check-in or checkout means you don't have to be constrained by schedules at the beginning and end of your stay. Manuel is a discreet host but available when needed. Foldada is a very small village but the locals are very welcoming. Palencia Mountain is beautiful. For lovers of nature, mountain, Romanesque art, and holidays away from the hustle and bustle of the cities this is the place. We spent 2 weeks of a very pleasant family vacation there.

Esmeralda’s place was clean and comfortable and the yard and patio were so nice! The location was peaceful and private and easy to get to by car. Nearest market or restaurant is about 6 km away, so you may want to bring your own food. Esmeralda was fast to respond and shared helpful suggestions about nearby activities. She was wonderful to us and even spent time helping us with travel info back to Burgos. We loved our stay and our host!
