Chloe and Maria are fantastic hosts! I'd highly recommend there placd if you're visiting Savaii. I know I'll be back ! Hospitality: They took care of us like family. Offered amenities to use i.e. Kayak, Snorkels etc. Pointed out locations for us to visit. Prepared a delicious breakfast for us on the day of our departure. Great local knowledge and environmental insights. Living area/Fale: We wanted something traditional and organic with a touch of modern living. We found it here. Open the windows and blinds and your view is of the beach and flat ocean reef as far the eye can see. Location: A Tranquil area to lose your self in deep thought or meditation or swim amongst the coral reef system. A beautiful beach a few metres from our beach house. Awesome to meet Mr. Matafeo, the Owner and one of the village Chiefs who popped by to greet us for a chat. Thanks for the memorable visit!

I recommend Nola and her accommodations, as a matter of fact I’m looking forward to go here every time I’m in Savaii. She’s very helpful, very responsive and respectful to my questions and concerns. She took care of us! The location is very convenient, she also includes recommendations of activities to do around the island. There were seven of us, five adults and two children. We had 2 rooms and the rooms were combined with a mini seating area, a kitchen and a bathroom sitting in between the rooms. Everything that you could use for an apartment was available in this Airbnb, and we loved it. When we asked our kids what would they recommend for this place, they said a TV only because they ddnt have any wifi. Maybe some wifi too to include and charge us with it (kids version). We had asked Nola for a change with our sheets and she did so promptly. She gives you your privacy as you utilize her space, and is often asking if there’s anything she can do help make your stay more comfortable.

Salty Lodge was our home away from home during our 10-day trip back to visit family. If you’re after a peaceful and quiet stay with a touch of home and aren’t too fussed about high-end luxury, Salty Lodge is the perfect spot especially if you prefer staying on the Wharf side of the island if you like to catch a ferry to Savai’i which is 5mins away by drive. Airport 10mins, Apia (Cbd) 35mins depending on traffic. The customer service was exceptional, thanks to the lovely Karleen and her team, who went above and beyond to look after us and cater to our needs. A big fa’afetai tele lava to Karleen for your warm hospitality! For those traveling to Samoa, just a heads-up: Wi-Fi and mobile service can still be a bit spotty. Salty Lodge doesn’t have a bar, but no worries there are a couple of local convenience stores just a 2-minute walk away where you can grab a cold drink. Enjoy it in the little fale by the ocean or on your balcony if you’ve booked an ocean-side unit. Highly recommend!

The surroundings were beautiful, the place was very clean, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. They are in the process of hiring a new cook but, in the meantime, they were still able to provide me with breakfast and dinner and I was able to buy something for lunch from the small store just down the road. I really appreciate the extra effort that the staff made to help me. I also enjoyed their lounge ( where the WiFi is) and sitting on my patio which was shady all the time because it faces north.

A great place for family and big groups traveling. Enjoyed every minute of it and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t desire luxury that much but want a place that is simple and friendly .

Despite heavy rain and strong wind, our stay at Nolas was very comfortable, thanks to the host excellent communication. We had everything needed. Thanks for everything 💓

We really enjoyed staying at Savaian hotel grounds. It's a self-contained unit on ex-hotel grounds with beautiful view on ocean and Upolu. it was quiet and peaceful, we liked walks. Nola was super helpful in guidance and advice and went an extra mile when we needed help.

Nola was an exceptional Host. We enjoyed our stay during our Family Reunion. She was very friendly, accommodating, and communicative. We look forward to booking with her again on our next trip!
