Vacation rentals with beach access in Painesville Township

I was planning a trip to the Cleveland area to spend time with my sister & originally booked a hotel room. I’m so glad that I stumbled across this gem instead. It was a million times more comfortable (and way cuter too). As a matter of fact, it was so cute & cozy that my sister & I had a hard time leaving for our planned activities, opting to chill at the apartment instead. The apartment itself was full of eye candy (hello there Jonathan Adler) & to say that I enjoyed all the quirky, little touches sprinkled throughout was an understatement. (I wish I would have discovered the tortoise shell lamps sooner). Despite staying during New Years Eve, the apartment itself was still quiet. And let’s not forget John as the host…he instantly greeted me the moment I pulled into the apartment’s private parking spot. He was super accommodating to my last minute request to extend my stay & was very gracious in allowing me a late check out due to bad weather. A definite repeat stay for me.

Very clean, newly remodeled, nice kitchen with amenities, good TV and air filter. Parking lot always had room and we enjoyed Mars Bar/Cafe just a short walk away. Great place!

Always a stellar stay here! It’s close to my company’s HQ and Bay Village is a great little area. Gretchen always communicates well, and has great recommendations for local restaurants. Always clean and comfortable. It was cold and snowy on this recent visit, but the heated bathroom floors and gas fireplace kept things cozy!

What you see is what you get. The place looked exactly like the photos. Our favorite part was the floor to ceiling windows and view of the bridge/water. Excellent location close to bars and restaurants. Short walk to Cleveland Browns games, even in the cold.

Very cute, well put together studio. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the Cleveland area. Lee was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

This was a great location to stay for seeing a show at the Roxy. The apartment was clean, quiet, and included all amenities one might need for an overnight stay plus a few extra snack items provided by the host. For prior reviews that mention the tight parking situation, I took Jill's advice and used the open lot at Madison park one block away. Overall, I highly recommend.

We had such a lovely time. It was an amazing place to stay. Peaceful, spacious and Patricia went above and beyond in every way possible. You can tell it is all a labour of love. Thank you.

Christine was very responsive and easy to work with. She kindly put up some holiday decorations to make the home feel more cozy, as we had never been away from home with our kiddos for Christmas.

Booked Bill’s beautiful home and property for my in-laws and their 4 dogs over Christmas specifically because it was so dog-friendly and near my mom’s house in Burton. Bill was an incredible host making sure everyone had everything they needed and even joined us and cooked dinner for my mother-in-laws birthday! This will certainly be the spot for them any time they visit in the future! Thanks again to Bill and his sweet labs Bella and Grace!

Wendy's Lakehouse was exactly what my husband and I needed for our mini-retreat after our daughter's wedding. We were mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted when we arrived; but after a couple of days of complete quiet and privacy in the house, walking and laying on the private beach, listening to the water, watching the sunsets, and basking in the fresh Lake Erie breezes: we felt restored and refreshed. The only thing that disappointed us was that we couldn't stay longer... life rolls on! 😅 Within hours of our arrival we were making plans to return- next time with our 4 sons- as soon as possible! We even were dreaming about bringing future grandkids in years to come! 🥰 Thank you, Wendy, for providing this peaceful retreat!

This is the second time I have stayed in Robert's house. He is a fabulous host. He has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. A gorgeous house with a wonderful yard. Thank you, Robert!!!!

The house is in a great location in Conneaut...we were able to walk to the beach and park but also just a few steps away from a park with overlook where we watched a sunset one night and fireworks another night. The beds were comfy and Mary was quick to respond.

Adorable home in a great location ! Within walking distance to Walnut Beach and local restaurants and shops. No complaints here and plan to stay again in future trips made to Ashtabula !

House was beautifully remodeled and everything was exactly as advertised , the shower upstairs is a must use

Very nice place with everything we needed for a long weekend. Beautiful view of the lake and convenient location at the end of the GOTL strip only minutes away from Ashtabula. It was clean, comfy and relaxing. Instructions for getting there and into the place were provided in a timely manner and had everything you needed to let yourself in. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend that you do as well!

We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. She loves Lake Erie so I was looking for a place close to the lake. You can’t get much closer to the Lake than this place. We really enjoyed our stay.

For a remote worker, Tina's place offered a quiet, comfortable place to work with a gorgeous sunset view. The kitchen was fully stocked and I was able to cook when I wanted. Tina is a kind, generous, and thoughtful host who keeps the place consistently clean. Parking was easy as well. I'll definitely check in again if I come back to Cleveland!

A little bit of a challenge getting up there ,but once you do , the place is very comfortable. The roof deck was an extra bonus.

We really loved the unique decor! The kitchen was my favorite as we played PacMan! Super fun experience staying here, plus the lake is within walking distance!

Suriya was a wonderful host. She made sure that the house was in great condition and works very hard to keep it that way. She made an effort consistently to make sure that I had everything that I needed. She made accommodations for me when things in the house were not available, and she went above and beyond to leave nice little surprises throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a comfortable stay in a fantastic area. My summer up in Cleveland would not have been as good if I was not staying here.
