Rose was extremely friendly and helpful. She also helped us with receiving a critical document by courier by allowing us to use her address and her local number that made the delivery very convenient for us !

Worth every penny!! This place is so beautiful I definitely give it. 6 star if possible because wow!!! It was for my family for my wedding and they were just beyond happy. Check in takes a tech savy fellow though but I can understand the security need so no complaints

Really loved staying in the Oranjezicht neighborhood. Very convenient location to lion’s head, signal hill, table mountain, and beaches on the camps bay side. The house itself is great - beautifully decorated and great outdoor living space. Would stay again.

We wanted to say thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and grounds are beautiful and extremely comfortable. This is a lovely house with a fabulous pool. Everything was immaculate. Liz and the team were great local hosts. Based in the centre of Franschhoek, everything is within easy reach in this wonderful location and we are already looking forward to returning soon.

This was our second stay at the property and it was like a home away from home. It is a beautiful house, very relaxing and wonderful decor. Great location. Alex was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend it!

Margot and her assistant Veronica communicated very well , assisted whenever i required it very promptly. i would stay again at 1b on Cabernet or even at another of Veronicas venues as i am confident i will always recieve excellent service.

A safe and tranquil home away from home with the most amazing book selection. My only regret is not having enough time to get through atleast one of them.

We booked this place for work for 1 week, but ended up stay 2 weeks. Russell was cery friendly and accommodating. We extended the stay twice with no issues. The place is clean, quite and ideal for a work or family stay. Plus he has backup water and electricity supply. We will definitely be staying there again.

Rooi Els is a lovely charming little town. Very quite an peacefull. The house is walking distance from the shop and restaurants. Although it is the most humble house around the neighborhood, it definitely don't disappoint. Got everything you may need. The coffee machine is the best thing of the whole house!

Such a peaceful stay with our doggies, they had a ball down by the river and so did we! The house layout is fantastic for large and small groups; we truly enjoyed every moment.

Great location, very spacious for larger groups and super clean. This is a perfect place to stay in CT if you want to be close enough to walk to restaurants, bars, hikes, shopping, etc. The house is clean and spacious with everything you need for an exceptional holiday. Chris is very responsive and had a lot of great recommendations. Would highly recommend.

This was our first visit to South Africa and Birgit and Eugene made it extremely easy for us particularly during our first few days when we were pretty clueless. But not just that - they continued with welcome and helpful suggestions throughout our time here. The well equipped apartment itself is spotlessly clean set in a really nice garden with a swimming pool and sun loungers. It’s an easy ten minute walk to the seafront where there are a selection of good restaurants offering menus to suit everyone’s taste. The area itself feels very safe and we had no problem walking back at night in the dark. All in all I have no hesitation in recommending Birgit’s apartments.

We stayed for a month at Nic's place and we really enjoyed it. Because of the high ceilings it feels very spacious and a lot of thought has been put into the interior. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels safe and with a cab ride of 5 min you're in the city centre. The kitchen is well equipped as well and it was a great place to work remotely for a month.

This was the perfect place to spend a week in Cape Town. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The house has everything you could need and was like a home away from home, with a mountain as a backdrop. Paddy was extremely helpful. My parents did find the stairs leading to the bedrooms a bit steep but it was okay for us. Great spot to locate yourself to see all the sights of the fair Cape.

Absolutely perfect spot for a weekend away from town yet so close. Setting is beautiful. House luxurious with everytiing you could wish for to hand. Thank you. We will be back

FABULOUSAbsolutely stunning view right on the sand. Ocean loudly crashed right in front. Mist was amazing & romantic. Jacuzzi feels like you’re on the ocean. Two great rooms each with stunning view, automated blinds and full bathrooms. Sand level bedroom also good enough with own patio and steps from the water. Granite tops in kitchen although appliances a bit old. Very responsive Security company 24 hours with alarm. Needs minimal attention and decluttering, but the BEST ocean stay we’ve ever had. Big enough for small family and comfortable lounge and great gas fireplace. Sound system too intricate to understand but was able to stream DSTV on the wifi. The area has signal issues now and again but was able to work & did zoom meetings. Lock up garage nice. No beach stairs though. Host sorted glitches immediately once we were there and surprised us with wine & chocolates in true SA style. You can’t go wrong with this place. We hope to be back soon and often. We’d even consider buying it!

Ann is an incredible host and this is always our choice of property when visiting Stellenbosch. I love to take morning runs and the neighbourhood is safe and the people are respectful. Nice restaurants near by and it always feels like a 2nd home. I highly recommend it and will always be my first preference when visiting Stellenbosch.

We had a wonderful stay in August (winter, 8 days with 2 teenagers). The property is exactly as described and has everything you might need. The neighborhood feels safe and has many excellent restaurants within walking distance. It's a 3 minute walk to the ocean, 10 minute drive to the V&A and downtown, so a great location to explore Cape Town and surrounding areas. Jenny is an excellent host, friendly and quick to respond. Definitely recommend.

Angie and Jon were brilliant hosts,very responsive to any questions we had. we had a fabulous holiday, the place was central to everywhere we went. loved sitting outside every morning with a mug of tea and watching all the birds that visited the garden including guinea fowls and weaver birds. would recommend and hopefully will be back in a few years time. thank you.

We had such an amazing stay it this wonderfully eclectic home. Such a lovely host and brilliantly laid out giving you lots of options for different kinds of entertaining and relaxing. Jacey was so helpful and incredibly entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyed her. The home is very well situated for quick access to everything. We only wish we could have stayed a few extra days. Will definitely be back there again.
