A magical peaceful place to stay

We had a very nice stay at CAMP in Zipolite. The description is accurate: it’s a simple, hostel-style place — basic but comfortable. The other guests were friendly and helpful, which added a lot to the experience. Our room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs, and it opened onto a large courtyard with a warm soaking pool that helped keep the space from feeling confined.

The manager was responsive and helpful with most needs, and the cleaning crew came every day and kept the property in good shape. We really appreciated having a shared kitchen so we could prepare our own meals and not rely exclusively on restaurants, which can get old when you’re traveling.

The location is excellent, with easy walking access to both the beach and the town’s main amenities. And, as with all of Zipolite, it’s best suited for people who are comfortable with the area’s very relaxed attitude toward nudity.

An atmosphere full of peace and quiet.

There is just so much space, which makes the stay very enjoyable. The lights are dimmed in the evening, creating a very calm overall atmosphere. It can be a little tricky to find everything at first within the property, as there is no reception and a lot of information is provided on the website.
