The grounds at the Heron are wonderful and very peaceful. They keep the fairy lights on around the Dragon Stage at night and wandering around in the middle of the night alone in the woods with soft colorful lights is a magical experience. It is camping, as in the outhouse is a good 30 feet from the yurt, but the yurt is furnished comfortable and is decorated interestingly.

If you are looking for some time away in the woods and you don't like sleeping on the ground or other aspects of tent camping, I would definitely recommend the Serenity yurt at the Heron.
