3 days agoWe stayed at Flaka Studio at Jibe City in December 2025.
For windsurfing it is an absolute paradise! Quickly accessible, the accommodation cozy, clean and well appointed. A couple came by regularly to clean the other apartments, and also cleaned our studio or terrace. Everyone was super nice.
You are a bit remote from Kralendijk and restaurants and definitely need a car for a longer stay.
For a windsurfing vacation, this place is 100% recommended!

4 days agoLoved the location, the home and the hosts! It was so easy to talk to Elyse and Chris throughout our stay. They really went over and above to make sure we had a wonderful family vacation for Christmas. Even went to the effort of picking up a key at the airport on Christmas Eve that was left in one of my kid's pockets. The home is perfect for extended families that need their own space. Fit our growing family of 16 perfectly.

5 days agoThe apartment is beautiful and the hosts are lovely. We got greeted personally and also had a personal goodbye when we left. We had an issue with the safe which was immediately taken care of. The location is greet as well. There are walkable restaurants available and the drive to the city centre with tons of options is less than 10 minutes. Bottom line, we would go back to this place on a heartbeat

1 week agoHad a wonderful dive trip and Kas was a big part of it! Very central but quiet, the view on the canal was amazing, the pool is great to best the heat. For divers there is a side yard with a hose that is super convenient for washing your gear and drying it out without taking over the entire deck. They have a drying rack as well and stuff dries quickly in the sun and cross breeze. The rooms are separated from one another and the concrete walls allow for sound privacy room to room and each has its own bathroom. We cooked dinner most nights and the kitchen had everything that we needed. Comfortable seating area inside and out. There is a tv where you can log into your Netflix or Amazon but doesn’t have ability to mirror your phone. Will definitely stay here again!!!!

1 week agoFor windsurfing or winging, this location is fantastic! Being able to walk out the door, rent gear, and get on the water within 50 paces makes everything work. You can take advantage of the best wind, come back in for lunch and breaks, and get lots of water time. It's also a wonderful place to be in the evenings, when the crowds go away.
The apartment itself is comfortable, but not at all fancy. I found that I had what I needed to make simple meals. The one negative, from my perspective, was that it was hard to keep mosquitoes from getting in. This was in December, which I think is at the tail end of the rainy season.
Lastly, Elyse was a very helpful, communicative host, and allowed a late check-out, since no one was coming that day, which was super helpful!
