2 weeks agoThe place was wonderful. Easy to get to, super clean and had all listed ammenities. My husband and I are travelling with a baby and the host made sure we had everything we needed and was super responsive to any questions and proactive with suggestions that we loved. Super close to Osaka metro, markets, family marts and more. Would recommend Moriya in Osaka to any of our friends!

2 weeks agoOverall, we really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is cozy, warmly decorated, and served as an excellent base for our 8-day Kansai trip. 1. A big thumbs up for the bathroom ventilation and drying system 👍🏽 This was incredibly useful as our clothes were able to dry within half a day, which made a huge difference for travelers. 2. Spacious compared to many accommodations in Japan at a similar price point. We visited Kyoto, Uji, Nara, and Kobe during our stay, and it always felt comfortable to return to the apartment after a long day—almost like coming home. 3. Responsive and helpful host Our first night around 10PM, we had some trouble figuring out the water heater. The host responded promptly and patiently. 4. The sound insulation is not very good. We were not aware of this until the guests downstairs informed us. We apologized and became more mindful afterward. Some noise is unavoidable when stepping down from the bed platform onto the floor. I would still recommend to friends!

2 weeks agoWe had a great time and felt very comfortable at the place! The apartment is super modern, clean and well equipped – it really has everything you need, including a practical washing machine. It offers absolutely enough space for two people, and the bed was very comfortable. Communication was great and we found the place without any problems. We also found the location to be completely fine and felt safe at all times. Two small things to be prepared for (but which you usually know in advance): The walls are quite thin, which is why you could unfortunately hear the neighbors very well. In addition, you have to carry the suitcases up the stairs, since there is no elevator. Conclusion: A super nice, modern place that we can absolutely recommend for two people!

2 weeks agoIt was a very good experience. It was my first time in Japan, and on the first night, I was surprised. I experienced the cleanliness and tidiness of Japan. The complimentary coffee and small cakes were very fresh and delicious. The room was very clean, and it was very quiet. I slept well. I really like this place.

3 weeks agoThe apartment is nice, with everything you need. Beautiful spacious bathroom with a large washing machine. Despite the fact that it was not super clean (some hair and dust here and there), a very pleasant stay. We ourselves may not have done proper research on the area; in a few blocks, you are in the "red light" district or you walk along the railroad tracks where homeless people are lying. As a woman, I wouldn't dare walk around there alone at night. Despite that, the street of the apartment was quiet, and we actually didn't notice any of the unrest. The apartment itself was noisy, and if you turn the light on in bed in the evening, you can hear the neighbors talking. However, when we sent the host a message about this, we got a response super quickly and the host did something about it! Also, a small thing, the curtains are not blackout at all. Not a huge problem for us, and if you ask for them, you get sleep masks. Overall, a great apartment, close to public transport and close to Shinsekai 👍
