2 weeks agoI would not recommend staying at this property under any circumstances. From the moment we arrived, the overall condition of the building was disappointing. Out of three elevators, only one was working, which already set the tone. However, the biggest issue was safety. When we got to our unit, the door would not unlock properly. While trying to figure it out, a tenant who lives in the building told us that this has been an ongoing issue for months and that people sometimes have to force doors open using cards just to get inside. That is extremely concerning. A door that can be bypassed that easily is a serious security risk. Because of this, we did not feel safe staying there and decided to leave immediately. I reached out to the host to explain the situation and request a refund, but they were uncooperative and unwilling to take responsibility for the condition of the property. This was not just an inconvenience—it was a safety issue. Future guests should be aware before booking.

2 weeks agoThe room itself was ok. Everything smelled strong of marijuana so bad that it gave us a headache. I contacted the host and they had someone “purify” the air while we were out. While this initially helped, it did not fix the issue. Probably because the entire building smelled that way. They issued us towels when we checked in and only enough for 1 day, when we were there for 3. The air conditioning is window units in each room that are loud and do not cool very well. They are full of old marijuana smoke and constantly circulate the smell. The lobby smelled of raw sewage. I have no idea why. At first I thought it was just a single incidental smell, but it was every time we walked through the lobby. There were 3 elevators in the building but only 1 working and even it had a lot of issues. Just save yourself the headache and the smell and find yourself a nice hotel to check into.
