Excellent experience on vacation for 4 days in Merano, beautiful city and also very good solution proposed by Ivo. The apartment is very large, clean and comfortable, the kitchen is separate from the living room and both spaces are usable. The double room is good for both a couple and 3 as in our case (we have a 2-year-old child who slept with us). The apartment is not in the center but is only 10 minutes (1.2 km) on foot, with the cold of this period we preferred to move by car (5 minutes away). Recommended if you want to visit Merano and have no problem getting around the city by car.

Ivo is the best BNB host I ever had since joining the community four years ago. He raised the bar for all my future hosts with his relentless customer service, attention to detail and availability before, during and after our stay. Since he allowed us to check in early, we had the time to go to the Innsbruck Christmas market by train. The train station is only a five minute walk from the apartment. The well equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our Christmas eve meal in his timeless dining area surrounded by classic art and furniture. Downton is just a few steps away, where you find a vast amount of restaurants, shops, entertainment, etc. I can go on, but I believe I made our point. Ivo’s heart and home is open to guests that are looking for “the home away from home” experience.
