Hi! We are Lindsay & Marvin, owners of Boyneland Vacation Rentals. We own and manage the homes you’ll find here on Airbnb in and around the BOYNE area. We live here too :) We moved Up North from Grand Rapids in 2010 and within days of being here we knew this would be our new home for a long time! We are now raising 4 children in this beautiful area. We love living in BOYNE City and greater Northern Michigan and want your experience to be great while here!

Staying here was such a cool experience! We’ve been to plenty of Airbnbs, but never a treehouse! Comfortable bed, soft towels, reasonably stocked kitchen, etc. All the things you hope for. But honestly, it’s just really different from any place else we stayed. And the clever way it was constructed out of containers… it’s something to spend time looking at and appreciating how they did it. Being surrounded by trees is quite serene. In July, grateful for the air-conditioning and bug spray provided. The listing is very accurate. The path up from the parking lot and the tight spiral staircase could be an issue for some, though it was not for us. The path is lit and well maintained. I would advise a two-night stay minimum if possible. We were only there for one night, which equals about 17 hours total (5 PM entry, 10 AM exit. Even knowing this, I’d say it was still worth it because it’s a really cool experience. We did choose to pay the extra $50 for an additional hour on departure day.
