…Marilyn’s place is a great location, right in the center of the village. The place is no bigger than a dorm room, which was fine for just my husband and I. Once we pulled down the Murphy bed, there wasn’t a lot of room to move around the kitchenette. The TV doesn’t work, but there was a supply of DVDs, which we watched because it was raining and we couldn’t ski. There was one knife and one spoon in the unit, but there were dishes, cups, glasses, and pots and pans. Luckily, I brought my own blanket. One blanket in the closet was full of moth holes, and the other was dirty. I took the bedspread off the Murphy bed because I figured if a blanket was dirty, the bedspread probably was too. Surprisingly though, the Murphy bed was comfortable. All in all, our expectations weren’t too high, knowing that Rim Fire is one of the older places at Snowshoe. You really can’t beat the location. This unit is just not well-maintained, but doable.…
