Fan Cottage is a detached cottage in the west of the Brecon Beacons with magnificent views overlooking Cray Reservoir and was totally refurbished to a high standard in 2017. It is ideal for a family or group of friends. Hill and reservoir walks are accessible straight out of the garden. We welcome well behaved dogs - additional charge of £20/dog. We take 7 nights or 3 night weekend bookings from Friday - weekend price is £500 to £650: stay of 7 nights have a minimum of 30% discount.

Quaint cottage situated in the heart of the waterfall country. Enjoy the beautiful surrounding areas with the four waterfall walk on your door step! This one bedroom cottage consists of one double bed, one single bed and also has one very comfy sofa! Lovely old cottage, great for a relaxing get away with family or friends. Ideal quiet location on the edge of Llansadwrn village with the local friendly pub within walking distance. With the Brecon Beacons on your doorstep there is plenty to do including lots of gardens, castles and mountains to visit. A car is ideal to get around although there is a local bus stop close to the house with a service bus travelling to llandeilo or Llandovery. The nearest railway station is Llangadog.

It’s a beautiful cottage , was very clean and the host was friendly. The environment was nice and quiet. It’s easy for me to travel to Skandavel , just few mins away . The bed and mattress was very comfortable. Toilet and bathroom was comfortable too . Carwyn was easy to keep in touch , he replied quickly if there is any question.i would to go again in Summer . Surrounding place beautiful country side with hills and Sheep.

We had a wonderful time! The cottage was lovely and cosy and as described. It had everything we needed so we could cook our meals and included all the bedding as well. There was a lovely little outside space too which would have been wonderful in warm weather. Unfortunately when we stayed we were unable to use the fire due to crows nesting which was a shame, especially as it was very cold and windy for us, so it might be worth checking for anyone else if this is one of the main features that appealed like it did for ourselves. There was no local shops but Tenby was a short drive away with plenty of places to visit and lots of beaches nearby so the location was great. There is a local pub but only open Friday and Saturday evening. Sleeping arrangement was great as well but there is no door between the snug and the lounge so be aware if you have anyone sleeping on the sofa bed like we did. Overall a beautiful cottage in a great place, we’ll definitely be back.

Helen was a superb host, leaving welcome treats and we had everything you could need so we felt at home immediately. We have stayed here before, 6 years ago and this time was equally great. We rented the adjoining cottage for my elderly mother which was ideal and she thoroughly enjoyed too. The property is pristine, the location is very peaceful and the hot tub is fantastic. We would love to stay again!

We had a fantastic stay in Daffodil Cottage! The place was spotless and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in a breeze. The neighborhood was quiet but still close to everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
