Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ouachita Parish

Perfect place to spend Christmas!! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware for all baking/cooking needs! Second time we have stayed here, Logan is a great host, always responsive to any questions! I cannot express how beautiful this place is, peaceful mornings, with the most amazing sunrise, and family evenings around the fire-pit, looking out over the lake! Perfection!! We will stay here again!

I’m from Monroe but live out of state. I can’t say enough about how pleased and thankful I am to find this home away from home! I unexpectedly needed long-term accommodations after my initial Christmas visit due to my mother’s quickly declining health. Being able to have a perfect place to call home while going through such a traumatic experience is a gift. Everything we could possibly need was there. We walked into a beautifully decorated home. Presented with a yummy LARGE snack basket and beautiful fruit bowl stock with fresh fruit. Fully stocked kitchen and (my obsession) full arrangement of coffee needs! Perfect office space for remote work. Even pet supplies! There’s a full set of outdoor patio furniture and grill in a huge backyard. Plenty of towels and linens. Plenty of books and games. Kristy’s communication was prompt, friendly and very helpful. This will be my go-to home away from home anytime I’m back in Monroe.

We popped in for a night during a baseball tournament. The place was perfect! We’d definitely stay again!

The penthouse was amazing! It was so great to get ready in for my wedding this past weekend. The host was very responsive and very flexible with my check in.

Joseph’s Boat House is first class! Beautiful, peaceful location with everything you need. Highly recommend. I plan to make it my new Monroe stay when visiting.

This cabin was amazing. Beds were super comfortable. Cabins were easy to find. Perfect for a little get away or for a sporting event in the area.

Great stay! Gregory was very responsive and understanding. The place was clean and honestly looks better than the pictures. Would absolutely stay again! Just a little warning if this matters to you- there are only curtains in the bedrooms (there aren’t any curtains or blinds in the main area) so at night it’s pretty unsettling with all of the windows lol. Not a huge deal but definitely weird if you are used to drawing the curtains at night! Fantastic light during the day though!

We had a great stay! House was well stocked and looked just like the pics. Plenty of room and we felt right at home. Cheri was quick to respond and accommodating. We would definitely recommend Cheri’s house and stay the next time we come back to Monroe!
