The Wild Loon has an open concept floor plan. Sleeping arrangements are upstairs and downstairs in the basement. The half bath, kitchen, living and dining room are all on the main floor. If you are looking for an idyllic lake house experience, this is it! We could have spent our entire trip just sitting on the porches—upstairs, downstairs, one screened-in porch, and the lovely dock. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat multiple times. The house was perfect for us because we are a close family of three, but if you need privacy from other guests, this wouldn’t be the ideal house as one bedroom opens into the other. The beds are soft and comfortable as is the sofa. Paula and Tim were extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return to this house. It was difficult to leave the gorgeous leaves.

Truly an amazing stay! The house was filled with thoughtful additions; is perfect for a girl's/couple's getaway or even a family retreat (stocked with activities for the kids, even a dedicated room/space). The house was clean. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Please note, if coming in the rainy season (spring), the road can be muddy and the ground soft. We did rent an AWD vehicle, the road is narrow, but easy to navigate (just take your time). The address (in GPS) was easy to find, partially paved then you will be driving on dirt road, again take your time on the roads (they can be rough). Access to the home was easy. The views are beautiful and relaxing, especially from the upstairs loft bedroom (it did not have curtains as mentioned but honestly during our stay it was a little cloudy, so this was not an issue, all other rooms have shades/curtains). Will be staying here again as soon as possible!! Would highly recommend.

My friends and I are photographers who make an annual fall getaway. Mike's place was beyond what we hoped for! It started with great communication--Mike answered any and all questions very quickly and offered additional suggestions of places to go and things to do. The house was located way off the beaten path on a very private road, right on a large pond. The scenery was gorgeous and we didn't really even have to leave the property to find beauty! We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch with it's fire table in the evening! Hopkinton is a beautiful small town that we enjoyed exploring! We hated to leave, but all of us look forward to booking this amazing place again very soon!

Peaceful setting. Brandon was helpful and very responsive. The lake was frozen so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors. The place has everything you may need. The water as described did have a sulfur smell so I didn’t feel comfortable washing my hair. That was the only slight negative but won’t stop me for booking again.

Absolutely beautiful spot on the lake! The house was perfect for our extended family (grandparents, parents and children) and extremely clean. I am usually a tough critic of cleanliness of air bnbs and very nose sensitive. Besides cobwebs (outside!) the entire place was spotless and odor free! Plenty of towels for the entire family and comfy beds and linens. Honestly felt like a home away from home. We brought our boat and explored the northern quarter of the lake. The dock looked brand new. A very nice sandbar on the opposite side of the island seen from the dock- great to park and swim at. Lots of cool islands to explore nearby too. It unfortunately rained almost every day we were there so thank god the house was big enough and comfy for 6 adults and 2 kids to hang out. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful part of lake George

This place is a perfect lake getaway spot. Although I used it as a home base for a ski weekend it was beautiful to look out to in the morning to the frozen lake with the sun beaming onto it as we were getting ready for skiing. The house is designed in a way to be able to enjoy the beauty of the lake even if the weather is not hospitable outside. The way they set the house as there was no TV in the upstairs was a nice little retreat to when I was younger and not every room had a TV or peace of electronic distraction. It was peaceful to cook dinner and just enjoy the company of those who came and the conversations we had. Warning just be careful and slow on the main road when it snows but that isn't the best season for this house as summer time it must be spectacular.

This property was the most peaceful stay I have ever had. So quiet and relaxing. It was the perfect getaway while we were in town for a wedding. The stay had everything we needed to make dinners for the family and a wonderful porch overlooking Lake Beebe. Thanks for sharing your space with my family and me. Side note: Dylan was very successful fishing in this lake and the boats made it easy to explore the lake.
