If we could give The Longhouse a 6 star rating we would! This is a truly special property with one of the most spectacular views along the coast line. We loved that it was a renovated 100 year old building with an interesting history. Ilse has created a modern home while maintaining the character. We loved the well appointed kitchen with with its potage garden at the back. We were able to use the herbs and vegetables available. The bedrooms, each with their own ensuites were very comfortable! We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub too.

We travel a lot and often stay in luxury accommodations around the world, but Atanga is truly in a league of its own. This must be one of the best places we have ever stayed. What an unbelievable experience—what a breathtaking view! The house was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, but the view is simply beyond words. Staying at Atanga isn’t just accommodation; it’s an experience, an attraction in Queenstown on its own. We spent hours, even days, just taking it all in and enjoying every moment in this stunning home. We couldn’t be more thankful—this was without a doubt the highlight of our trip.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in Queenstown. The property was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The views of the mountains and lake were fantastic, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Queenstown.

We loved our stay so much! Couldn’t have been a better place for Christmas for our family to enjoy. Location was a little far with a stroller but we almost didn’t leave to leave the house! We can’t wait to come back x

We had a great 4-night stay at Aroha on Florence. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in at how beautiful the location was. It’s situated right at the very top of the complex and hence the view of the mountains and lake is breathtaking. We were also greeted with a beautiful sunset on the day of check-in. On top of that, the house was super clean and had many common areas that can accomodate my big family. The facilities were very complete, we were able to cook homecooked meals and all the cooking utensils were provided. The rooms were all super comfortable and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were also super clean. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Aroha and would definitely come back when we’re in Queenstown. Highly recommended for large families.

Amazing Airbnb, would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Queenstown. The host and the planners were amazing throughout the whole process and went above and beyond for us.
