Lake house vacation rentals in Ossipee Lake

This house was awesome, very comfortable, host was very receptive &quick to answer inquiries. I would recommend this home if you are looking for a secluded relaxing place to stay or to hike through woods. However, getting there was a bit scary in the dark, there’s no street lights, the area is all woods &very dark, the roads very twisty & winding. The driveway to the house is about 1/2 mile long in a very dark wooded area, deer jumped out at us, & the road is all rocks and pebbles definitely better to have an SUV type vehicle. There are no stores around or pharmacy and not much to do in the area. Had to travel 20-40 minutes to get to stores. We did see 2 restaurants up the main road. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet comfortable place to just relax, and hang out this house is amazing. Very roomy, comfortable, extremely clean, fully equipped with all amenities. Beds extremely comfortable, clean, & many areas inside and out to just relax. We enjoyed this home.

My family and I had a lovely time in Laconia and felt so at home in Megan's house. It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The bed and the view in the main bedroom were blissful! It was fairly close to the outlets, and to the center of town, where we attended the Pumpkin Festival. I could see this becoming an annual family trip! Thanks so much to Megan for being a wonderful hostess!

Me and my family had an awesome stay. The house was great with lots of space and places to sleep. We were 8 ppl and there was more than enough room. Garage/game room was awesome I just wish it was insulated with some heat we had to wear our coats to be comfortable, of course the weather was 26F so it was expected. The rest of the house was warm and cozy. I would love to rent this same house in the summer it must be amazing with the view of the lake. One more thing is although there are 2 bathrooms its more like 1 because the second bathroom upstairs has a little door that leads to the room with the 4 beds so the other people not staying in that room didn’t use that bathroom to not get walked in on unexpectedly. Overall I still gave this place 5 stars and it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed and the host is very responsive and accommodating.

The place was so quiet, peaceful, and great view from the living room window as we could see the lake and some mountains with snow! There were plenty of space for 2 of us, the fireplace was so warm, and the best part was the hot tub. We got in it at night and in the morning and the view was different and so enjoyable! Miriam was super helpful when we had some questions about the house, especially when we couldn't find the oil and she brought it to us, even though it was Thanksgiving Day! So kind :) It was such a relaxing few days and near by trail was so fun to walk on!

I can’t wait for our next visit. What a beautiful location, cozy home, with everything we needed. Kit was great on communication, and the home was just as advertised. We will definitely be back, in any season. Highly recommend if you’re re looking for a place to relax and unwind. Loved it!

What a beautiful weekend getaway! We loved how cozy this home was. Jon was very responsive and helpful for getting us everything we needed during our stay. Definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for a nice private retreat. We stayed in the winter, but I'm sure it's great any time of year!

Amazing location, the property is good for atleast 6-7 guests, we had a lot of fun there.

We stayed here with our family for our wedding at castle in the clouds and this was the PERFECT location to get ready and relax before and after the wedding. It’s gorgeous, spacious, and Tamara is an absolutely lovely host and helpful when we had any questions. We booked the house across the street from her too for the wedding party and it was so nice to have a quiet family complex!

Miguel’s place was perfect for my family to spend the Thanksgiving holiday. The listing had everything we needed to host our 6 family members, infant, and two dogs. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful and we had the added bonus of getting some lovely snow on Thanksgiving. Miguel was quick to tell us someone would be out to plow the next day. We loved it so much we extended our reservation and Miguel was very accommodating. Thank you again!

My wife and I just returned from this property. This was our fourth consecutive annual visit and we have already reserved for 2025. When it comes down to it, there are only 2 things that are important and draw us back time after time. 1. The home and its views: We have had the opportunity to stay at a number of New England Airbnb/VRBO properties, this is the only one we want to return to, over and over again. Its popularity makes it difficult to reserve- please ask yourself why? The home is delightful, comfortable, affordable, well equipped, clean, private and with a view of Sargent's pond that never stops mesmerizing us. If you are an outdoor action or more of laid-back type - no one will be disappointed. 2. Andy and Emily are the quintessential hosts. From the welcoming package, including doggie snacks - they think of everything. They are kind, honest and thoughtful people who want to ensure your needs are met but are never intrusive. We sincerely trust and thank them.

What can I say about this amazing getaway other than, we will be back! Beautiful surroundings right on the lake, with amazing decks and dock on the water. It was great to soak in the peace at this time of the year ( mid November) This house has so much between the hot tub, all the games to play, fishing poles, and tons of cozy blankets you never have to leave. If you are looking for a local restaurant, Wontons was fantastic, we recommend the Seven Lakes Special. All around great spot, and the dogs were so happy with all the sun you get on the porch.

This place exceeded our expectations! My friends and I had an amazing time. The house was pretty clean and well-maintained, and the hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind. The host was incredibly responsive and proactive, checking in to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend! :)

We had an awesome time staying at Karen’s house. The view is incredible, the house has everything you need and the surrounding towns have all you could need. Everything was super clean which I personally feel is absolutely necessary. Nothing worse than feeling like you’re sleeping on dirty sheets or sitting on a dirty couch. We are looking forward to going back! Did I mention the view? Impeccable

We enjoyed a great stay at this place, it was quiet and peaceful just what we were looking for. The food in the area was excellent and we enjoyed exploring some local spots. Will definitely return in the future

We had an awesome weekend stay at Monique’s cottage. The house was clean and equipped with all amenities listed. The yard space is huge for backyard games. Would definitely stay here again!

Lea was nothing short of fantastic. House is huge and stunning. 5 couples stayed for the weekend, everyone had their own bedroom and space. Kitchen was perfect for us. Extra oven is a huge bonus! So many areas for great board game playing. Hot tub was nice, some of my fellow guests felt the water could’ve been cleaner, i say “turn on the jets, who cares”! My only gripe is that the toilet bowls all have years of scum build up, but it’s just an aesthetic preference. Again, my fellow guests said the water didn’t taste good, fairly iron-forward. But nothing a few jugs of water from JimBobs down the road cant fix! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The outdoor furniture is fantastic, the views are serene, and the vibes are ~pure Maine ~ 💕

The house was enchanting, and the sunsets over the lake were breathtaking. Yvonne was an outstanding host, with impeccable attention to detail. My family of four, including two children under the age of two, spent a week at the property. We prepared most of our dinners and found every dish and utensil we could possibly need. In the evenings, we enjoyed cozy campfires and movie nights on the big screen. The place was spotless and exactly as described. Don’t think twice about booking your stay—you won’t be disappointed!

Justin and Britt are fantastic hosts, extremely welcoming and helpful. The house is awesome! Our family had a wonderful visit for Thanksgiving. All the kids had a blast playing board games and hide and seek. It was everything we could ask for and more for our few days in NH. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful time at this home . Excellent view of the lake and the beach in a little cove is fantastic. We heard loons in morning and evening and saw a bald eagle 1st morning. If you like canoeing or kayaking this is a great spot. Much quieter than other parts of the lake. The home is completely modernized with excellent appliances and very relaxing. Great dining not to far away. Can't wait to go back again next year

We had the best 4 days over Christmas break to bring my family from out of town and have a traditional New England white Christmas! The place is filled with charms and amenities and is extremely cosy! Brittney was an amazing host, very communicative and proactive weeks ahead of our listing and always responded when we had questions. Additionally, the house is equipped with everything you can think so it was really a seemless and amazing experience to stay there

Stayed with my friends and family and had the best time. Great cozy peaceful woods retreat right on a private lake in Maine. Can’t beat that. Amazing people and even offered to drop off extra TP. Can’t beat that either.
