Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Osaka Bay

great location, super quiet. could use more heating in the winter (bathroom & shower cold), but would totally stay again!

Wonderful location - walkable or quick cab to many sites and conveniences. Cool Machiya good for two couples with upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms providing privacy. Downstairs bedroom has a firm western style bed, two upstairs bedrooms have multiple futons and plenty of bedding. Compared to our other accommodations with futons, these were very thin, but because they were plentiful we stacked them for a little more cushion. Lovely small garden to look over makes the place feel a world away. Rental company was responsive and dropped off dishwasher soap same day when we realized there wasn’t any. Overall great stay and excellent hosts - would recommend for your stay in wonderful Kyoto!

Very comfortable for 3 of us. It is within 15-25 mins walk to most attractions partly on narrow roads. Taxis can conveniently stop right outside the apt. The apt has easy-to-use amenities eg washer cum dryer, relaxing round bath tub, 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms, well-lit rooms on 2nd floor with comfortable floor mattresses. Little space downstairs if you have many big suitcases as stairways can be narrow to move them to second floor.

Absolutely incredible stay! The 8 of us felt right at home, and everything was comfortable and spacious. Would come back and stay here again as a large group.

The residence is incredible, near the Kyoto Station, super clean and very comfortable to live in.

It's a place I chose for a family trip. I had a comfortable stay. The environment around the house is so-so, but other than that The house is clean, and he explains things kindly and well. Satisfied. I was worried because there weren't many reviews. It was nice to see it as it was introduced. And the water pressure was strong, so it was nice. One thing to note is that the stairs inside the house are very steep.

Finding the place was ok I passed the road at first, there is a huge parking driveway but narrow roads to get to the home. I rented a 7 passenger van and was able to drive to the house with a spotter. Once we got there it was super easy to get in. Host was very helpful and responded quickly. There were bikes we were able to use and a baby stroller. There is a laundry machine with soap provided. The bathrooms had amenities. There were plenty of dishes. There is a button on the wall to turn on the hot water. There is a bathroom on the bottom floor and 2nd. Overall this was a super great experience especially for the price!

It's a little bit away from the station, but I had no problem traveling at all because they took care of my luggage. Also, the neighborhood was quiet and nice. There are two toilets and two bathrooms, so it was good for a large family to use, and especially you can take a half-body bath in the bathroom with a view of the small garden. I was able to stay comfortably thanks to the host who answered quickly and cleanly.

Our stay at Yanbin’s place was great! We really felt at home, at a Japanese home! Place is great, location was awesome! Away from the tourists but still super close to any action Kyoto offers! Yanbin was super friendly, always willing to help and put up with all my questions! Honestly a great place, plenty of room, comfortable and great location! Our kids were very careful around the house, but with so much space it was really great! Everyone had its own corner in the house to enjoy their reading, playing a game, reading a book or sipping a coffee/tea/sake! Highly recommended without a doubt! Thank you Yanbin, see you next time!

This pearl of a house is in a quiet neighborhood close to supermarkets and restaurants outside the more vibrant areas. With loads of bus stops and an important subway-station nearby it made Kyoto sightseeing a walk in the park. This lovely ryokan felt like a home, with all facilities you might need. Takeshi is super friendly and his helpfulness with tips and suggestions made our stay 5 stars! Highly recommended!

What we loved the most was proximity to Shinsekai and walking distance to Dotonbori. Beds were comfy and contrary to other posts we did not experience much noise. It was nice to have a lounge area and a washer/dryer combo. My mum left her kindle behind and Vivian kindly had it posted to our next hotel. We would gladly stay again. The only thing to call out would be the steep staircase, which may be challenging for someone less mobile.

Very nice place with clean and hot tub including place! Drinks, gifts, and quick communications are great to feel welcome at place.

As a group of 6 adults, we stayed in this beautiful, clean home in April 2025. Everyone was impressed with how high end and comfortable everything was. Even better than the pictures! Appliances were high end and there were wonderful small details such as fresh flowers. I recommend making toast in the Balmuda toaster (add a spoonful of water in the receptacle to first steam the bread). The kitchen has everything you could want. Located a 5 minute walk from the KH line with easy access to Nishiki Market, Gion, Fushimi Inari, and Kyoto station. We were sad to leave. Not a cheap accomodation but worth the money and would consider again if travelling with a group!

Great deal for those with large groups visiting Osaka! The Castle is very spacious and clean in both the individual rooms and the shared spaces, we had 11 people and there was still plenty of space. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but still within a 10/15 min walk to two metro stations that can take you anywhere you’re going in the city. There are also many shops and restaurants within walking distance, including a 7/11 right around the corner! Overall great experience at this location.

Wonderful host! Picked us up and dropped us off from the station. Very helpful and responsive. I would give 6 stars if I could. Will definitely stay here next time we come.
