If you want a true off the grid experience with amazing food and views, make your way out here. Everything that we could have hoped and wished for. We felt like family when we arrived and they were so kind and wonderful throughout. The tours they offer are amazing. Would absolutely stay again if given the chance.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of Pavones. The house exudes real poetry, with its cabin atmosphere and its old surfboards in decoration. The large rooms are very nice. Moshe is warm and made us laugh!!

If you’re looking for a version of Costa Rican river living this is it. Affordable with an extremely attentive owner and staff. We especially enjoyed our kayaking and hiking trips. Thank you, Carlos!

Its a beautiful spot with rooms at different levels looking out over the forest with lots of wildlife. Julie is a super friendly host and we felt right at home. The room, bathroom and kitchen were perfectly clean, and the location is great, not far from Manuel Antonio or Quepos with frequent buses, but not too close either so it felt very tranquilo.

We used Vistadrakelodge to stay in Drake Bay on our way to and from an overnight trip to Corcovado Preserve. We stayed a relaxed extra day after, swinging in the hammocks on the deck overlooking the sea. It had lovely views of the sea, birds and monkeys in its gardens and trees. And much enjoyed air conditioning! Emilio was great, met us at the boat from Sierpe to take us up the short hill from the beach, even though it would have been an easy 5 minute walk. He offered to take us to his farm to walk in nature but we were too tired to take the offer. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. He can also help arrange local boat tours and arranged our return trip back to Sierpe. Easy walk to several restaurants in town and the beach.

I liked the place very much, it was a blessing, very quiet. The host was very helpful, I needed a good wi-fi connection and he was able to provide. There is a lot to do in the place and is also conveniently close to Manuel Antonio's National Park and other beaches. I appreciate he was able to accomodate us in such a short notice.

San Agustín is beautiful, we loved getting to know the place, the cabin is very cozy, with some foggy sunrises, perfect for drinking coffee on the upstairs terrace overlooking the coffee plantation.

The cabin is in a small and laidback resort. There is a yoga shala, and the staff can help with booking tours and more. The location is very remote (twenty minute walk on the beach), so it's adviced to pack light. It's also a beautiful place, with a big private beach but also in the jungle. We observed all kinds of animals, including macaws and monkeys. There are no nearby restaurants, but there are meals in the resort at extra cost. All in all a great place, and we would have loved to stay longer if we could.

The stay was AMAZING. Location was AMAZING, and the people were AMAZING!! 100% RECOMMEND. And you don't have to worry about any river crossings from Puerto Jimenez

This place is magical! I can’t put it into words. It exceeded our expectations. Beautiful setting. The river rafting was AMAZING! Our tent was spacious and comfortable. Me and my 4 kids had plenty of beds for all of us and didn’t have to share. The outdoor bathroom is pristine and so pretty as it’s open air and overlooks the river. Kitchen and fridge at our tent area was convenient. But we loved the shared kitchen and fire pit in the center of camp. It has everything you need. Cara and Leo are the best hosts I’ve had. Responsive and kind. And we ate 3 meals next door with their neighbor Luz which gives you a local feel in her home and is delicious and well priced. This stop was a highlight of our trip and we hope to return. I would rate it higher than 5 stars if that was allowed! Great value. And magical experience!

This place is truly something special. We are already dreaming about when we can return. The river is beyond gorgeous with loads of swimming holes. By far the best shower in my whole trip to Costa Rica, comfy beds, and the cleanest communal kitchen I've ever seen. Cara is friendly and warm. Everything was perfect!

Brett was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He even offered to pick things up for us and drive us to the other side of town. This spot is super cozy and perfect for bird watching.

We loved staying at Finca La Bonita, it's peaceful, right in the middle of nature , beautiful views of the tree canopies and the ocean. Visiting monkies, toucans, mccaws, humming birds and more . You don't have to go far to enjoy all the fauna and flora, you can admire all from the balcony. Christian took us for amazing day walk to see very old and tall trees , we also enjoyed night walk and spotted many animals. The beach in Carate is amazingly beautiful, if you are looking for a unique experience at the edge of Corcovado National Park this is your place. The road to get to Finca La Bonita is long and bumpy but it was totally worth it. We also enjoyed very tasty meals prepared by the chef , we had the best time getting to know the local area. Corcovado national Park La Leona station is about 3km away. Christian has a lot of knowledge about nature and all sorts of subjects , we wish we could have stayed longer and hope we can return in the future. Ania, Ann and Fionn
