Lovely apartment with everything you need in perfect location in the center of Kirkwall! Very smooth and professional check in and out process with the key box.

We had a great stay. Apartment was lovely and clean and welcome gift was appreciated. Very centrally located so easy walking distance to town and shops. If arriving by plane, worth booking your taxi before you arrive as we found it impossible to get a taxi once we had landed at the airport. Owners were very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Trendy, modern flat with private parking. Karen is most affable, generous and flexible in accommodating our needs. Internet is quite fast. Smart televisions in the living room and master bedroom. Kitchen is equipped perfectly with everything you could possibly need for a week of cooking away from home. The master bedroom has two spacious wardrobes for storing clothes/suitcase. There's a utility room shared between the two flats. The stairs up to the flat are quite steep.

Bert’s apartment was excellent. It was even better in real life than on the pictures. We had two dogs and a toddler with us and were all very comfortable for the duration of our stay. Bert was an excellent host. Really friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend a stay with him.

The accommodations were lovely. Although there were just 2 of us, the spacious home could easily accommodate families very comfortably. The living space was warm and inviting and the heated floors were a wonderful touch. I took a Relaxing bath in the large bathtub every night while listening the birds and sheep outside. The view out the kitchen was absolutely stunning. Laundry on site and easy parking in the Scottish countryside and very close to dining and shopping in Kirkwall, what was not to love? We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Orkney and would highly recommend staying here.

The accommodation was perfect for us. A short walk to centre of Kirkwall. The house was very comfortable and spacious and worked very well for three couples. It was one of the best resourced Airbnbs we have have stayed in. We wanted for nothing during our stay. Our host Simon was incredibly helpful ( especially as the couples we arrived at different times ) and his attention to detail was apparent in all aspects of our stay and helped make for a very memorable holiday . Highly recommended.

Our second stay and will happily return. It is clean, bright and convenient. Amenities are truly helpful and provide the opportunity to make great meals and avoid expensive or unhealthy meals. The place is a gem. Laundry allows for less packing.

The house is ideally located in the village . Beautiful little village close to the harbour. A very friendly community. The house is beautiful..Well equipped with all you need and plenty of games. Great for families.. Lovely views. Warm. Comfortable beds. Nice comfortable lounge..We appreciated the welcome food items Elizabeth left for us. Good value.

Everything about this Airbnb is first class. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is obvious great care has been taken to provide everything necessary for a perfect stay. Dawn was a great host and communication was quick and easy. Thank you Dawn.

A home from home, lots of extras left such as dishwasher tablets, herbs and salt and pepper, cleaning solutions. We particularly enjoyed the outside space on the days that the weather improved enough to eat outside.

The house was spacious, really well stocked and in a great location. Lizzy communicated really well and made the whole stay very easy We had a fantastic two weeks there. The garden is a good size but for anyone bringing pets it is not secure.

Amazing ! We never met people as sweet as the couple that host this house ! We arrived late in Orkeys islands and they came to meet us in Kirkwall to drive us to their home. Very helpful and caring ! The beds were comfy and the bathroom very clean ! We recommend ! Lia & Hakemi

Great apartment. Very clean and well appointed. Great location in that you were very close to everything the only downside was that on the Saturday night the noise from the young folk waiting for taxis was horrendous. Between 12-2 am none of us could sleep and that was with the windows shut and earplugs in . But for the noise on the Saturday night I would have scored higher.
