This place was amazing! The kitchen was stacked with everything you could ever need, the place was so spacious and clean, and Rosalie was extremely responsive and friendly. We were blown away by the beauty of the location. Right on the beautiful lake in the forest. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at Vicky's. Amazing view across to Karapiro - so peaceful. There were 8 of us and the house was big enough to give us our own space but perfectly designed to bring us all together too. A beautifully presented and clean property that provided everything we needed. Vicky was a great host, responsive and really friendly. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your house.

Great house with plenty of room for our party of adults and children. Great cupboard full of games and toys kept children happy when we had downtime. Outside shower was a bonus! Would definitely stay again. Jenny

Spacious, light and airy. Beautiful views over the water. Kids loved kayaking and exploring the sea floor once the tide was out. We soaked up the sounds of the tui in the garden. Lovely bush walks. Cheryl was great to deal with. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

Stella was a very friendly host. Her house was in a perfect location. With fabulous ocean views and easy 3min walk into local shopping/dining precinct and great hiking trails of Mt Maunganui 10mins away. Very family friendly and comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay and were very impressed by the little touches of hpusearming gifts and beautiful array of local teas and coffees to try. Will definitely stay again 😄

Staying at Lucy's was like being in a dream. The perfect, idyllic, lakeside Kiwi-bach, this place matches all descriptions and photos. This place has everything - from a cozy fireplace, to kayaks to explore the lake and a modern bathroom, our family absolutely enjoyed staying here. There was a lot to do and keep yourself entertained with, we didn't struggle with having no wifi. The location is great, only 30 minutes to Rotorua and a lot of places to sightsee on the way there. The only downside of this place is that since it's close to the road there is some traffic noise, especially when big trucks go by. It wasn't an issue for us when staying there since we're city dwellers and accompanied to traffic noise, but if you're a light sleeper definitely bring ear plugs.

Rob's lake front house has everything, great view, clean, spacious, and a well stocked kitchen. Rob personally greet us and gave us clear instructions of how to use the appliances, electronic equipment and kayaks. The best value sta. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and the space catered for all our needs. Tarawera is a magical spot, and this venue allowed us time together without WiFi and the busyness of city life. The reserve and swings, trampoline and bbq area were major bonuses. Thank you for opening this special space for us to use. We recommend for families who love nature and the beauty that Tarawera has to offer!

Great place to stay, and a great host who makes everything so easy. A clean tidy place which makes you feel right at home. Loads to do in the area with only short drives to Rotorua, Kawerau or Whakatane. But the absolute highlight for us was being able to relax in spa looking out over the stunning Lake Rotoma watching the sun set. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Tiny Tūī Cottage, the home is so cosy the photos just don’t do it justice as the home is a lot bigger than I expected, we could also bring our fur baby which was a major bonus for our family, it has a fire place a huge back yard and a reserve just across the driveway which was great for our boys, Nicole is a super responsive host always just a txt away thank you so much for letting us stay in your cosy cottage we will definitely be back again:)

looking for peace & to switch off from the pressures of city life for a night or two then this is the place for you, Fantastic scenery, private & the option of 3 different rooms. you can hire all 3 and it would be an awesome get away for family or a group of friends. One of the rooms has its own bathroom and the other two shared facilities which were only a couple of meters away in the stockyard shed.All clean safe and great hot shower too! We had the best sleep ever! It is off the grid but the solar power was more than enough for basic power, lighting,charging devices etc.Cell phone reception is patchy but a few steps up to the barn and you well connected to the world again. (also being semi disconnected added to the charm of the place.) Bring all your own food & drinks + maybe a board game or 2 and really just enjoy the awesome spot without having to venture into town &relax. bonus is the use of a private boat ramp, we had our 2 jetskis and had an amazing time exporting the lake

This gorgeous little place in Waikite Valley was exactly what we were looking for as a peaceful birthday weekend away! Such a beautiful private spot surrounded by a mountain, lake, river, and fields - not to mention the geothermal activity! Loved every second here. Thank you so much for having us.

Thanks for accepting a very last minute booking. Beautiful batch was great for the dogs to swim and relax all day with the lake as your front yard. Kayaks were a treat and we were given great recommendations on where the local hot spots to paddle to were. This was simple living and it’s not too far from Rotorua city centre. It is tricky to find the accom during the night so would be best to get there before sun fall.
