Great location, spacious and well equipped house, loads of room outside for kids to run and explore, close to the lake, hot tub was a nice bonus, really felt like an escape. I couldn’t understate how peaceful and beautiful this end of Tarawera is. Our family of 5 had great fun here. Lauren was very pleasant to deal with too.

Stunning view! Kitchen was well stocked with unexpected treats. Max the cat is awesome and very friendly!! This was the perfect spot for our family vacation that turned into the perfect spot for an intimate wedding for my Son and his GF. Many thanks to Joelene !!

Very responsive host! Allowed us to checkin earlier than expected. Very clean home and peaceful area that was walking distance to the beach/shops. Checkin/out instructions were clear and easy to understand. Beautiful lighting for photos. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely loved our stay at Jane’s beach house. We have stayed in many at Pukehina but this is definitely our favourite. Beautiful beach front property that is extremely safe for children so we felt like we could completely relax. The house is everything you could ever need and more.

Great place to stay. Incredibly private, equipped with everything you need and so close to the beach. Marina communicated very well. Would highly recommend.

Stu is a terrific host, very responsive and friendly, the house was amazing... beautiful and serene, tastefully decorated and a fabulous kitchen... and the surrounding area is simply beautiful.

The home-made bottled peaches in the fridge along with other condiments was so kind and thoughtful. We had to the best night sleep ever on supper comfy bed & fresh linen. We can’t wait to visit again one day. Pleasure to meet you both loved the tour of the gardens and thank-you for the peaches fresh off the tree! We loved our stay at Whare Iti Rawa (Studio) it was right on the water, beautiful sunsets, and peaceful location. Paul and Jo were really friendly and helpful. The little studio was so cute and had everything we needed. Very comfy bed. Lovely and clean and modern.

A comfortable, compact apartment, perfect as a base for a worker. Was welcomed by Paul and given a tour, he and Leigh were friendly and always available to help/ chat / lend their dog for walks on the beach !! Lots of small details have been thought of. I particularly appreciated the well kitted out kitchen. The beach is visible from the kitchen window and accessible by walking down the driveway.

Thank you for allowing us to take residence in your home to celebrate the union of our daughter and her husband. An amazing place to stay, beautiful scenic views and the activities of kayaking was amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Janets place is amazing, brand new, clean and very comfortable. We a had great stay. Would recommend others ++ Nearby beaches, New world, restaurants nearby. Great local recommendations given.
