great location, magnificent views over Lago Maggiore, the pool is excellent, you can stay an entire day at the Villa and do nothing. the kitchen is a bit basic for cooking and inside is a bit less elegant. Also there was some dust under the bed and wardrobes. The main disadvantage is there are no blinds or shutters in any of the bedrooms and in summer it gets hot during the day and bright at 6 o'clock in the morning.

Maria is a super host! We were made to feel welcome. Also when we got unlucky with our car she helped us great. We had a great time! Which is what matters! The setting of Casa Cattaneo is so very beautiful The light is exceptional making the sunrise and sunsets something to look forward to every day. The house is a beautiful example of modernism at its finest. Whilst some amenities are less comfortable today the house offers an exceptional way to experience the local setting exceptional view of lake Maggiore and the culinary delights of the area.

This was our second time at this property. The place is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a luxurious vacation nearby Italian lake. We also give extra credit for the hosts due to they (and the cleaning staff) have made tourists’ life a bit easier on relation to very strict Italian recycling requirements :)

House is high up. Up the streets are very curvy and narrow. But if you can enjoy the view, you are speechless. House is pure luxury. It was a very nice experience and we would be happy to come back.

We were once again able to spend a wonderful, romantic week at Villa Bianci. Once again, it was a homecoming in a wonderful picturesque atmosphere. To a well-maintained, extensive park with magnificent lake views. Angela had surprised us again to immerse ourselves in the melody of the house with culinary delights. Thanks Angela. The best choice you can make. A lovely combination of a great house, magical surroundings and generous hosts. A special welcome package with delicious homemade pastries, breads, fruits, vegetables, milk, juice, eggs, jams, wine, pasta, olive oil, and many other good things. It's look that a lot of thought was given to every corner of the house, the hosts thought of all the big and small things, to enjoy the guests and make the hospitality unforgettable.The hosts really took care of every detail. They went out of their way to help with anything that was needed. Elena showed us the area, helped with medical events that needed assistance.The hosts were genuinely interested in our well-being.The house is charming and very comfortable. Designed with excellent taste. The mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The environment is great and there are beautiful hiking trails nearby. The listing is very accurate, and the home was fantastic in a great location with a spectacular view. For a very reasonable charge, the pool was heated which made a big difference when the weather was cooler than hoped for. We were a family of 6, and there was plenty of space. Every detail seemed to have been thought through very well. We couldn’t have been happier!

Great for families and very welcoming and friendly hosts. Breakfast was perfect and Sonia's wellness offering - we tried the hot stone massage - was a great addition to the trip. Highly recommend!

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

What a beautiful setting for our family reunion on Lake Cuomo! Host and his Dad met us at check in to help with luggage. The home is simply beautiful, fully furnished and outfitted with embroidered linens and towels. We appreciated so very much the starter groceries and fresh produce. We settled in and didn’t need to shop for a few days. We hiked the trails above Brienno, chartered a private sailboat, ate locally, took the ferry to Bellagio, explored Menaggio, Cernobbio and of course Como. And sat on the beautiful terrace in Brienno and admired the view for hours. This home is a wonderful place, excellent value for the price. Highly reccomended.

It was a wonderful time in the great villa by the lake. Beautiful rooms, bathrooms and cozy corners for conversations. The children enjoyed the large garden extensively. Everything worked out great. Only the late check-in time we do not find appropriate for the price and we cleaned kitchen utensils again before use. Otherwise, we'd love to come back. Thank you very much.

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

I booked the full villa with some colleagues and we had a lot of fun. The kitchen is big and with a lot of space, garden and pool are great for children and adults

Beautiful historic home, with modern amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable. The house was in a great location for our family if of eight to explore the lake region. There are lovely local restaurants, though a car is necessary. We were thrilled to see St. Vitalis of Gaza at the local church, St. Maurizio! Valerio is a wonderful host. W enjoyed our stay immensely.

We are a family of 5 and absolutely loved staying in Pierina's Airbnb. The place was clean, beautifully situated write at the lake, and we felt very welcome. We would definitely come back - can recommend!
