Welcoming and responsive

Our family had a wonderful time in this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. We were made to feel welcome with a gift basket of goodies and other little touches. The views of the bay and beach were amazing, along with a boardwalk right off the front yard for wonderful walks. The kitchen is fully stocked which enabled preparing our Thanksgiving dinner very easy. My only recommendation would be to have a Keurig available for ease. We highly recommend Juliana and Eloy as first rate and would return. Thank you for a memorable stay!

My wife and I stayed here over Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen had plenty of cookware if you wanted to cook a meal. The bathroom had plenty of towels.I recommend this property and would stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this home, and just like the first time, everything was perfect. The place is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It suits my family, who visit me every year from abroad, perfectly. The location is convenient, the neighborhood is quiet, and the hosts are absolutely lovely—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We truly feel at home here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

This home is beautiful. The only set back is parking is only available on one side of the street so there is limited parking for this home.

This place exceeded expectations — it was exactly as described on the website, if not better! The house was spotless and beautifully maintained. One of the biggest perks was the free parking, which made everything so convenient. Plus, all the major attractions were just a short distance away, making it a perfect spot for a family getaway. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to return!

Exactly as described in photos. The apartment is spacious, and has 2 beds and 2 baths. 1 bedroom has both a bunk bed (sleeps one at the top), trundle (sleeps one at the bottom), and middle bed (sleeps 2-3). The bathrooms are clean and there are plenty of towels. It was very comfortable. The entrance can be a bit confusing but we were able to get in / out and park our car easily.

If I could give 11/10 I would! Sal was simply the best host you could ask for! Incredibly responsive, full of great advice and very hospitable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks so much Sal. If we are ever blessed enough to return, we will be back!

Wonderful apartment in a warm neighbourhood and very convenient location, easy walk to the Path or Ferry to NYC. A couple great playgrounds nearby. Apartment thoughtfully appointed and was nice to have some outdoor space. Emily was a great host and appreciate her prompt replies and flexibility (where it was possible).

We had a peaceful garden apartment stay at Margo and Vipin’s. 2 very comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful outdoor garden area. Private, secure, and spotless! Felt like home with lots of blankets and towels. Walkable to transportation, restaurants, and shopping, while situated on a quiet, family-friendly street. Kindly, they were flexible with the checkin and checkout we needed. Sparkling bathroom!

Christina was a great host. She made sure with my wheelchair situation, the driveway and the home entrance was well ramped. I felt at home as soon as I came there. My bf and I had a great time there. This place is close to the boardwalk as well. Various food options nearby with great stores just within less than a mile. I cant thank Christina enough for her amazing home she let us borrow and use like our own :) 7 STARS!

Very nice accommodation. It takes a good half hour by bus to get to Port Authority terminal. Very clean, clear instructions for check-in even late. Several buses take you to Manhattan, a 7-minute walk away. Cecia explains how to take them. Bonus: a basketball court right next door for kids to let off steam in the evening when they get home if they have any energy left!

We're so happy to stay at Ying's place. It's way more beautiful and cozier than what the pictures show. Everything is new/remodeled and clean. It takes just a couple minutes to walk to the bus stop near the traffic light to NYC. Parking can be tricky but Ying's clear instructions make us at ease. Overall I'd highly recommend this place for family trip.

The house is absolutely quiet and private on a hill at the end of a private road with perfect views of Manhattan. It is architecturally interesting from 1906 with plenty of space, several terraces and plenty of beautiful seating. Hosts Julia and Alex communicated perfectly. It was all very good. We would love to stay here again on our next stay on Staten Island.

We spent a weekend here for a quick getaway and it felt really refreshing. The place is very clean and as described. The host provided helpful instructions that are very easy to follow. The neighborhood is quiet yet vey close to everything you may need. It’s also within walking distance to the trails at the canal nearby which was a very pleasant walk. Would love to come back again!
