Hotel vacation rentals in Ocean City

The Chalfonte Hotel is such a cool place! If you’re intrigued with history and character, this is an experience for you. Only a 5 min walk from the beach and lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area. This was my first time in Cape May, it will certainly not be my last.

We enjoyed our stay here. we stayed overnight in September for an event and enjoyed the makings of a really cute, old timey beach bed and breakfast. The only comment I can suggest is that the common areas were not set ip to be inviting for vacationers. The lounge and kitchen is a well lived-in area and I wasn't sure if we should use it, but we were there off season and the room was discounted. Our room was very clean and cute, with its own private bathroom. I liked the vibe of the throwback decor, and the building was quiet. I enjoyed being greeted by the hosts and their child, and they personally showed me our room and set us all up with all the things we need. it make me feel very welcome as if they were welcoming us into their family home. we would stay again!

It is always a pleasure to stay in the beautiful Chalfonte Hotel! Charming historic Victorian surroundings and a beautiful relaxing veranda three blocks from Cape May's beaches. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, and the King Edward bar is always full of interesting conversations and delicious drinks. We have been coming to Cape May for 10 years and have stayed in the Chalfonte for three, I don't see myself staying anywhere else!

I enjoyed my stay in the little corner room at the Chalfonte. I loved reading and people-watching on the porch. It's a great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping area. I parked my car a few blocks away and rented a bicycle to get around town. The bathroom was a bit further down the hall than I expected, but it was always clean and available.

Great spot! loved the communal feel and accessibility to the beach. Room was tidy and exactly what I needed. Great experience all around!

The location was stunning—just a short walk to the beach—and everything about the space felt intentional and thoughtfully designed. The decor was beautiful, giving off a high-end, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind. Parking was easy and the location was very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The room was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The heated pool was an added bonus! We loved our stay in Lokal and Cape May. We plan on returning in the future.

From the moment we arrived every thing ran smoothly. Check in was quick and easy( and a few hours early!). Grounds and pool were immaculate. Rooms were very clean, beds and linens were comfortable. There were lots of staff on premises and it showed how hard they worked. It was on the beach block so the location was great. The hotel was family oriented, with lots of international guests. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a trip to the Jersey shore.

We enjoyed our stay at Brooklyn Beach Club. It was so fascinating walking around the area and admiring the mid century modern motels on every corner. We loved the pool and the amenities. The host was welcoming and super quick to respond. Thanks so much for making our stay incredibly fun and relaxing.

Great motel to stay at in Wildwood, just a few blocks from Morey's pier. A clean, safe, and quiet place to stay during our trip, just what we needed!

Great location, parking garage and room accessibility was great. Nice room. The pool was a great plus and the food at the Blue Water Grille was really really good! Would stay again.

Beautiful spot and a lovely room with high vaulted ceilings. The heated salt water pool is a a great feature as well. We had views of the water and the beach is right across the street. You also have easy access to the town center and restaurants and bars. Some small annoyances: The Sonos system never worked and the stove didn’t work because it wasn’t plugged in. The manager is very responsive generally and helpful. They also provided a complementary bottle of champagne to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

Overall, we had a great stay. Location was great, about 1/2 a block off the boardwalk right at Moreys Pier where amusement park is. Everything you need is within walking distance. Very quiet when we went, pool was open which was nice. Would definitely stay here again!

The unit was very spacious and waking up to the views of the ocean was nice. The place was clean, quiet & private. Michael was friendly & responsive. He made check-in seamless as possible.

Great view of the fireworks on Friday nights. We stepped out onto the balcony and they were right infront of us. Enjoyed the show from the chairs next to our door. Awesome pool. Large size rooms. A minute or two walk to the boardwalk. We would definitely book here again. The kids and I had a very nice time!

Very quick responses and very easy to communicate with. All directions were clear and easy. Awesome property and had a blast. Right on the beach!
