We had a really great time staying with Eric & Anne! The location is unbeatable with beach access a very short walk away and plenty of easy street parking. The bed is so, so comfortable and Eric & Anne thoughtfully provided all of the amenities we could have needed, including sunscreen! Though the hosts provided total privacy and there isn't any shared space, we happened to run into Eric during our stay and he is so welcoming and kind. I would definitely recommend this listing!

Hard to beat this location, while not exactly beachfront, it’s as close as you can get otherwise. Probably a 45 second walk from door to beach, and you can see the waves from the kitchen window and front porch. Well stocked and comfortable! Great beach toys, boogie boards, chairs. Loved it!

We stayed at Windansea Woods for several days in late March. We arrived late and looked forward to seeing the property in the morning. What we found was so much more than we expected. We woke to the calls of many birds. Trish and Justin had bird feeders and a water feature to attract the birds. We heard over 35 species during our stay and added some to our life lists. We spent long mornings enjoying our breakfast on the covered porch with our personal bird chorus. In the evening we enjoyed the hot tub. The bungalow was centrally located in La Jolla for the activities we had planned. We ventured out everyday for something new and found great restaurants nearby to try. We loved El Pescador, The Taco Stand, and Duke’s. We will be back to enjoy this location again and want to use the fireplace next time. Trish and Justin thanks for a wonderful weekend. It was the absolute perfect place for Tim and I to have our first getaway together and could not have dreamed of anything better.

George’s spot was perfect for our group. It’s in a very nice and walkable neighborhood, very close to food restaurants, stores, and other conveniences. It’s also just a stones throw from the waterfront park. The place itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The back patio was a great addition as well. Overall, a great place to stay for any San Diego trip.

Couldn’t have picked a better location to stay! I loved being able to walk to get coffee & pastries in the morning. This area is very peaceful & we also enjoyed evening strolls with our toddler & felt very safe. It’s also only about 20 minutes to get to downtown SD; everything else so close which is great especially when you’re traveling with kids. Check-in was at 4 but Jecka very graciously let us know that our place was ready a little earlier than expected. I thought this was very kind of her & was very appreciated. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We visited San Diego to spend time with my son who now lives in San Diego. Marty’s home provided nice open space both inside and out to spend time together. The location was close to the beach and restaurants. On Tuesday there was a beautiful farmers market just one block away.

A lovely place that the pictures do not do justice. This whole neighborhood has houses close together, but we still felt completely alone and private here. So much sun and light that was so relaxing. A perfect location with lots to do. Catrina was very responsive. Would stay here again!

We absolutely loved Leah and Drew’s place! It was so nice to have a spacious, clean, dog friendly place with an amazing backyard that was within walking distance to the Dog Beach and lots of fun shops and restaurants in OB. They were very easy to communicate with and we appreciated all the thought they put into their place. We hope to stay here again one day!

This place was amazing! I stayed here with my family, which included two dogs, and it was perfect! The house and yard were great for my family and pets, and the neighborhood is quiet and private. It was also close to many great restaurants and things to do. Isabelle was a great host! She left us a personalized message, cookies, snacks, and drinks for our check in and was extremely nice and responsive when we had questions. She also had some great recommendations for food and places to see nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you are looking for a family and pet friendly location close to many great spots in San Diego. I hope I get to come back to the area and stay here again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay. It’s absolutely the most perfect place. It was a very comfortable two weeks. In addition, the location is also perfect! Nestled in beautiful Point Loma, it was very easy to get in and out. Highways, airport, restaurants, and shopping are easily accessible. The house are attentive, kind, and very personable. We are looking forward to our next stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked really well. Having smart TV’s in every room was great and the corn hole got a lot of use. It was really easy to walk a few blocks to the bay each morning. Perfect place for us!

My wife and I couldn't be happier with our stay. My wife, who usually has difficulty sleeping, said that she slept more deeply here than she has anywhere else in years! We also wanted something outside the hustle and bustle of the city but still be relatively close to good restaurants and shopping. Steven's place was perfect. I particularly like the privacy of the pool area and the courtyard behind the bungalow which is perfect for anyone who loves sunbathing. We'll be back for sure.

Great location close to the water and walking distance to restaurants and lots to do. The parking was very convenient which I appreciated. The furniture was comfortable and the linens were clean. Diana's beach house was fantastic - excellent location just steps from the beach walk and the beach, wonderfully appointed and super clean - in fact, this is the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Diana's instructions were detailed and precise, the photos in the listing were spot- on - yes, you can sit on the deck and see the beach 100 feet away and the sunsets unfold in front of you! Diana is very prompt and timely in her communications with guests, and any question we had along the way she answered within 15 minutes. We loved our stay, really a superior experience, and can't wait to go back!

Tara's bungalow was very nice. It was very clean and modern while being cozy. Very nice amenities and a block from the beach! We could walk easily into Carlsbad Village for dining and shopping and the beach was about a 3 minute walk. Thank you for a restful and quiet stay! We loved it!

My toddler and sister stayed here for a few nights while visiting San Diego. It was a great spot for staying with a little one. Cyndi had a pack and play set up for us, a selection of children's books, kid-friendly snacks, and Disney+ on the TV. We loved taking walks to the beach. I thought Cyndi's place had some really thoughtful amenities + a fabulous location.

We had a great stay at Jim & Sha-Marie’s place in Ocean Beach! It was great to be able to walk to the beach, and also to have a driveway parking spot. Street parking is fairly easy if you have more than one vehicle. Beds were comfortable, everything suited our needs for a three night stay. No bugs, just a cute little lived-in home that we were able to borrow for a few days of beach life. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!
