This place is like a writer's retreat. The place was clean, peaceful and quiet. Elisabeth was an excellent host. Very respectful and flexible. Neighborhood is a short walk from downtown, but honestly there is a bus every 10 seconds, even until 4 am. Great place to watch the sunset, and a local bar/restaurant with traditional Norwegian food. Grocery store as well. I'm not sure there was a microwave, but that's just a European thing.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from tram line 1. Easy parking nearby. It has two bedrooms, including a master suite upstairs, as well as a perfectly equipped office. The living room is welcoming and warm, and the kitchen fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The host is very responsive. I would highly recommend it!

We were in Norway with our kids for the first time and were looking for a place not far from the airport due to the long trip. This is absolutely true of this house. 10 min to the airport and still no aircraft noise. We lived in the middle of the Norwegians. The residential area there is top and very central. The house is old and has been renovated, therefore there are a few problems with the electrics, but Aron compensates for that with style and super comfortable beds. We would go there again.

Great home for kids - our kids (6 and 9) had a blast. As did the adults. The tram is a few minutes from the front door, great location.

The house was perfect with garden and beautiful views. 20 min. from Bergen(by car). Very comfortably furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. Arve is very kind and accommodating. Absolutely recommended. Hope to stay again soon.

Frank’s place was a small and cozy apt. located in the most ideal location for us tourists that wanted to explore all that Bergen had to offer! It sits right in the mountain which gave stunning views to the city while also being walkable. We loved how friendly and easy it felt while staying at Frank’s place. Would highly recommend to others!

Really enjoyed our stay at Marius’s place. It’s all you need and in a very local neighbourhood, that’s close to the harbour. Marius is responsive and the place is very comfortable. We loved the local area, it was a great stay.

It’s a wonderful, well equipped home. Location and view is stunning. The biggest USP is that you come down the hill from the house and there is a ferry terminal to bergen right there. So if you are driving or walking or taking the bus - it is super convenient to go to places like bergen. Really saved us a lot of travel time. We practically felt at home away from home.

Hey there Loved Therese’s place! You will walk about 10 min to the super touristy stuff- great part of town. We hung at the apt several nights and had cider on the balcony and watched movies. Very chill place! And beautiful! She gives great recs! Def recommend. Full kitchen too! (Microwave 🙌) and allows dogs 👍

very quiet neighborhood. in a beautiful wooden house in the old quarter . independent entrance. no noise from the owners who live on the upper floor. everything you need is in the accommodation. very well equipped kitchen. dining area. functional bathroom. comfortable living room. nice room. Well heated. 10 minutes walk from the port and bryggen . 3 minutes from the backer brün cafe. It really feels like home . Johan does everything to make us feel good in the accommodation . We will come back without hesitation . He is a very welcoming host who takes care of the well-being of visitors .

Had a fabulous short stay here. Great communication from Torstein from start to finish. Accommodation was just as described and spotlessly clean. The apartment is in a quiet location but very central to reach transport links, bars and restaurants and all areas of Bergen in a short walk. A lovely warm retreat after being out in the snow all day! Would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back. Many thanks Torstein!

Exquisite! Henriette and Oda were amazing hosts. They thoughtfully decorated their beautiful apartment for the holidays and notified us of a rare northern lights sighting on New Year’s. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Upscale building. Short walk to a hilltop park, the university, grocery store, and city center. Extremely comfortable and luxurious—highly recommend!

Trude was the best host you could ask for. Had some lovely conversations and felt part of the local community because of her. The place is gorgeous and will leave you feeling recharged and relaxed. A charming apartment where I did feel home away from home. You have everything you need even for a longer stay. Convenient location with a 10-15 minutes bus ride or a good 40ish minutes walk to the fish market; bus station & a grocery store near by. Yngvild is very responsive and accommodating. I recommend this place and would rent it again if I would go back to Bergen.

I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment and it was an absolutely super experience. The apartment was clean, bright and modern, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect – quiet and calm, but at the same time close to everything of shops, restaurants and public transport. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, and little touches like great coffee and soft towels really made the difference. I felt at home from the start! Good location for exploring Bergen close to waterfront. Supermarket is just around the corner and restaurants in close walking distance

I was very glad to have stayed at Carl's place. Excellent check-in instruction. Excellent communication. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The view was pleasant and the kitchen had all the utensils to prepare food every day. I was very glad that I was permitted to use the washing machine late at night to clean my sports clothes for the next day. The area is in a quiet neighborhood but there is a hospital helipad nearby that about thrice every 2 weeks gets used. The building is alongside a steep hill so some inclined walking is necessary to get to it from the main road/bus stop. There is no elevator so walking up at least 3 flights of stairs is mandatory. I actually welcomed this requirement for this is how my knees will stay supple. Overall highly recommended and Carl and his place are considered to be on my top 3. Will try to stay here again on my next trip to Bergen if the price is right.
