Vacation rentals in Nyabihu

We had a wonderful stay at Red Rocks despite the weather. Peterson welcomed us, showed us around the place and recommended amazing activities (the plant medicine and bee keeping experience was great!)

Staying at Red Rocks was an absolutely fantastic experience. Greg and Harriet were incredible hosts and did all they could to make sure I had a good stay. They arranged transport, helped me to organise my trips to Virunga National Park and were always available on the phone to help me translate when my Kinyarwanda failed me. I loved the fact that the hostel runs various community development projects. We had a lot of fun learning basket weaving skills with some of the women supported by Red Rocks' programmes, and if I come back I would really like to volunteer. A great place with even better people!

Red Rocks is a fantastic initiative which brings tourism and the local community together. Greg has a wonderful group of staff working at Red Rocks who help to ensure everyone’s stay is enjoyable and tailored to their personal interests. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Musanze

Munezero’s place is a spacious guesthouse that was perfect for our American family of 3 adults to stay. The guesthouse was very comfortable with 2 sizable bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, sitting area, and a bathroom with a hot water shower. Everything was very clean. Munezero’s home is right off a paved road and she provided Google map directions so it was easy to find. Munezero was very welcoming once we arrived! In the kitchen she provided a complimentary spread for breakfast including fresh fruits, a loaf of bread, eggs, and a selection of teas. She was very helpful with local recommendations and even offered to connect us with guides. We would definitely come back when we’re in town!

Alice was so great with our baby and Elise (the cook) made delicious food for us and our baby. Anything tour related such as hiking Mount Bisoke ask Peterson. All of the staff went above and beyond to help us. Alice came to the Market with us to buy Rwandan imigongo (pictures) and Kitenge (traditional fabrics). All in all our group highly recommends staying at the Urugano Virunga Palace when you come to Musanze. :)

Loved the place, Great host and it is now my go to Airbnb in Musanze would 100000% recommend it to anyone.
