A pretty colonial style self catering chalet, with a three sided terrace, in the beautiful undulating countryside near Lautrec. The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The accommodation is made of a kitchen, living/dinning room, bathroom and a bedroom on the mezzanine, to which we access via the miller's stairs. Ideally located between the Futuroscope park (10 minutes) and Poitiers' city center (15 minutes). We'll be happy to welcome you & share our good addresses in the surroundings!

Coming from the village, take the D 107, first house on the right with a palm tree and a fir tree on the lawn. If you see the end of the village sign, you've gone too far!

A wonderful stay!!! The most beautiful and well thought-out cottage we've stayed in. Impeccably clean, nothing was missing, lovely touches from Valerie and Stéphane upon arrival. A real cocoon conducive to soothing and relaxation. We were there for our children's wedding and they made our stay easier by letting us park our decorated car in their own garage and being flexible on our check-in and check-out times. You can go there without so much as a second thought, you won't be disappointed!!! A big thank you for everything. 😊

Sarah's house is in the middle of the forest, accessible by small paths where you drive slowly. In the morning we are woken up by a multitude of birds. It's fantastic. We're walking around. We visit very beautiful villages. We enjoyed the spa and especially the sauna. We rest far from the city. Sarah is a great host and her home is made for those who love nature.

Karen and Dorota are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The pool and the views are fantastic. The house is well equipped and just down the round is a very convenient well stocked shop selling fresh bread and some top rate cheeses. We spent a great week here relaxing and exploring.
