A guest review...Simply put, It's the best home away from home. We visited the area to experience the wilderness of the Allagash and got so much more. Darlene is an amazing and intriguing host who opened her amazing house and made us feel truly at home. My home here in Allagash has 3 lovely bedrooms one of which is mine. The downstairs room is an open concept and the upstairs room is private. The Airstream sleep 2 comfortably. You won't be disappointed!

4-bedrooms sleeps 4 to 7 people. 1 1/2 baths, backyard picnic table and fire pits. Wi-Fi, T.V. firestick and a small library of movies and CD's. A cribbage board and a checker board are there for a distraction from the cyber stream. It's in-town, close to fuel and the store. There is a public beach where you can relax around the water. The porch is where you rate the skill of truck drivers gear shifting to climb the hill while sipping your drinks.
