Vacation rentals in Northwest Aroostook

We stayed here on our way to the east coast and again, on our way back to Ontario. We enjoyed our stay here, the place itself was beautiful being on the water with a private dock. We would absolutely stay here again, thank you so much for hosting us!

This place is a haven of peace for the period when we were. The scenery is beautiful with its bors de l 'eau. It is a chalet that invites us to the meeting with its large warm kitchen. This is the kind of place that invites you to come back. Thanks for lending it.

This home almost fit our needs for 6 adults The four bedrooms had full size beds but the basement had only one adult bed and two shorter children beds. So one of our group had to sleep on a couch. It worked but that person didn’t have much privacy The home had a pod coffee maker but no coffee pot. The owner reacted quickly to this issue by purchasing a Mr Coffee and we purchased the filters. We made some suggestions for additional things we felt would be helpful to have available and the owner appreciated our feedback. All in all a good stay that met our needs while having a successful moose hunt for a week. Thank you David. Bill

Fantastic home at a great location on the lake. Easy access to the local snowmobile trails and right on the lake to do some ice fishing. Highly recommended place to stay.

It was a great place to stay near the North Maine Woods. The remoteness was terrific, yet it was still as close to 'town' as you can get in that part of the world.

The cabin was perfect. Plenty of kitchen utensils to do what was needed and all was exceptionally clean. She was very responsive and accommodating when I reached out. 45 mins from caribou, presque isle, and big machias lake camps. Highly recommend and would love to return to stay again!

Maci actually upgraded us to the bigger cabin! It was perfect! The driveway was big enough for turning around two trailers. Secluded, quaint cabin, right close to the store and snowmobile trail! Marci was so accommodating, we will be coming back! Thank you so much! Macklyn & Brandon

Great place to stay with access to snowmobile trails and great ice fishing! This time of year it is also awesome to feed and watch the deer. We even saw one with a collar on! Highly recommend, something for everyone and it is super cozy. We got some snow while we were here and it was plowed by the time we got back from ice fishing. Great host, our second time back!

Two of us went up snowmobiling and had a great time. The place was clean and comfortable with a nice little kitchen that had everything we needed to make a few meals. They even had some cookies and a couple bags of chips waiting for us on the table. There was a small tv in the corner that had dish network too. The only things that werent perfect (but didnt bother us much) was that the well water had a sulfur smell to it but it was fine for showering and they provided a 5 gallon water dispenser, and you are not in the middle of nowhere like the pictures make it seem with another house about 15 ft away and train tracks about 100 ft way. overall we had an excellent first time Airbnb experience and would not hesitate to stay there again!

Very nice stay in the chalet. It is located on very quiet and nature grounds. The class was perfect for dogs. It was very clean and had everything we needed for 5 people.

The camp had everything we needed. Beautiful location on the water. The place was wonderful, very clean, felt like home. Host are very fast at responding and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely go back. Cookies were left for us and they were delicious! Thank you again!

Eric’s cottage was the perfect place for a peaceful weekend getaway. The property was beautiful with the lake just a few steps away. We spent the weekend sitting out by the lake fishing, and had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

Needed a last minute place to stay while on a backpacking trip with snowmobiles found this camp and I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future trips, the only thing I could recommend would be a few coat hangers inside the camp for future riders coming thru and also a floor mat for boots to keep the water from the hardwood floors other than that it’s a beautiful camp

We chose a November visit because it coincided with our anniversary. We wanted a "do nothing" trip so it as perfect for us. If you were to visit during the summer, there would be a ton of activities available to you. In November it's not snowy enough for snow mobile rental and not warm enough for the water activities that are in your back yard. (didn't matter to us but for anyone else looking to rent, just wanted to clarify that in November, the outside entertainment is limited) Instead we stayed in, made a romantic fire and relaxed in a clean and comfortable cabin with a great view. Perfection.

I went up for a weeklong getaway Monday to Friday and it was absolutely amazing. The place was much larger than we thought it would be. It is very remote and we got to see some deer outside. One of the main reasons we picked this place is that it is pet friendly. We had the fireplace going almost the entire time which really added to the amazing atmosphere. We loved that it was quite remote overall it was a great experience.

If you want a quite and peaceful setting in nature, this is the place. I don’t like long road trips but this was worth it.
