Vacation rentals in Northumberland

We were ten women looking for a peaceful, yet fun place to gather. This property did NOT disappoint! It was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The bedrooms were very comfy, and, for ten women, the three bathrooms were perfect. There is a great game room with air hockey, shuffle board and a movie room, which doubled as a very comfy sleeping space! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need! There was always plenty of room for us to gather, whether it be downstairs in the game room, on the three season porch, (which has portable heaters), the dining table, one of the two fire pits outside, or one of the very comfortable couches or chairs in the living room with a lovely gas fireplace. Some of us went for a hike on the trail while others stayed at the house and just enjoyed being there with friends. Derek, the host was very responsive and helpful both prior to our arrival and while we were there. We will be back next year!! Thank you, Derek!!

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

The place is clearly well taken care of with attention to detail. This would be a great place any time of year. Miriam and the home were very accommodating. I would return to this location with great peace of mind.

Kevin's place was great! Very clean, comfortable and in good area as we stayed for a week of skiing. Easy to get to Attitash ski resort and quick drive to Wildcat Mountain. Kevin was easy to communicate with and would return again next year for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay! Plenty of room for 8 guests (and more!!) in a beautiful setting. There was many helpful amenities, like kitchen items, and plenty of towels. The location is perfectly centered to many popular things to do. James was always very responsive to questions left clear instructions. We highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future.

This is a great place up in the white mountains, we were able to enjoy nature and the amenities of town. beautiful place. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay at Kearsarge Cottage was amazing. Its location and the size was what drew me to the listing, but what sealed the deal were all the 5 star reviews with stellar comments on the house and host Tom. We rented the house for a long weekend to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren so being together was important. Between the house and its addition there was plenty of space for togetherness, but also separation for sleeping and bathrooms. The kitchens are modern and have every gadget and appliance imaginable. TV setup and WiFi was perfect. And we couldn’t have asked for a better location. A 2 minute drive to Cranmore for winter fun and super short walk to town (5-6 minutes) for restaurants and shopping. Tom and Nori are amazing hosts with what they provide for their guests. They were readily available, and answered messages quickly. I would not give a moments hesitation to rent this house again. The house was perfect for a bigger group and had so much space! Great location and amenities-everything was labeled which was super helpful! The location was great for surrounding ski mountains (20 min to several), as well as other activities. Owners were very communicative and easy to reach if needed. Would love yo rent again!
