Farmstay vacation rentals in Northern New Mexico

So nice we came back twice! Didn’t expect to return so soon but when an opportunity presented itself to re-visit Taos, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. In between commitments, it’s so lovely to settle into this sweet space for a quiet repose. We can’t say enough good things about the boxcar, its beautiful surroundings and generous hosts.

Great experience, will be back, beautiful area. Definitely a peaceful escape and friendly host.

Apple Maps thinks the alley is the street and there is a house that is not theirs that has similar porch posts and at night we thought we were there. They are lovely neighbors and pointed us in the right direction! Exactly what we needed and hosts were great and left clear instructions.

Loved the location. Trails, restaurant and nice bookstore nearby. I'd recommend the breakfast sandwiches and turkish coffee at Satellite Coffee also.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Lazy J ranch. The space was really comfortable with all the amenities and extras to make the stay feel like home. Jason is a superior host, let us have some time with new baby lambs, and his family graciously invited our son to play. We are already hoping to be back!

Humming Grove was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I while visiting Santa Fe. Melanie, Paul, and Finn (the puppy,) were such wonderful hosts. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, with great walking trails through the brush, ample wildlife to observe, and a collection of projects that emanate the love that has been put into them. The room is spacious with a very homey feel, all of the decoration and feng shui was very thought out and perfectly framed the place. Melanie and Paul were both so kind and helpful during our stay, showing us around the property, telling us the history, giving us recommendations, and just chatting. It feels good to stay with someone who loves what they do, and this is exactly that. We will be coming back to Santa Fe specifically for this place. Thanks again so much for everything. Our stay at Sanjay’s house exceeded our expectations. The house is both beautiful and unique and ideal for a large family or two families to share. We were impressed with the cleanliness and how well stocked the house was to make our stay comfortable. The addeded benefits of the house having a hot tub and a fire pit with an amazing view of the mountains made for even a more unique experience. The house also has two wood fire ovens which were not only fun to use, but added additional heat to the house which was lovely. Our family has three boys and the second floor was perfect for them to have their own space and living room to hook up their PlayStation…a wonderful amenity for everyone to have their own space at the end of a long day skiing. We highly recommend Sanjay’s house and are already planning our next stay!

An absolute great find. Ambiance of the property is great, well stocked kitchen, the property was clean, would highly recommend.

I wish I could give this place more than five stars. We stayed for a night on a cross country roadtrip and arriving here was such a breath of fresh air. It’s so calming and welcoming inside, and it even smells amazing. There were tons of thoughtful touches that we really appreciated, like a welcome basket of snacks with a hand written note. Our baby LOVED meeting the goats and it’s so cool that you can just walk out and see them whenever you feel like it. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. If you get a chance to book, just do it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this tiny home! The location is tucked away down a dirt road with the entire property being secluded. Very close to the river and hot springs. The space was really clean and functional with the kitchen, fire pit, outdoor grill, and furniture. The hosts are super nice and gave us so much information on what to do and where to go when we arrived. We had the pleasure of meeting Doug in person when he stopped by to prepare one of the other units. 10 out of 10 would recommend anyone to stay here, we hope to come back one day!

We absolutely loved our time at Mountain + Lavender Dreams! The home was beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well-stocked with everything you could need to cook, relax, play, and even entertain a child. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of thought into making it a welcoming and comfortable space. One of the highlights of our stay was its proximity to Chimney Rock National Monument, an amazing archaeological site built by the Puebloans. We hiked to the top and had the entire site to ourselves—such a special experience. The wood-burning hot tub and sauna in the backyard were dreamy. My only regret? Not having enough time to finish the puzzle I started! This place is a gem—we’re already dreaming of coming back.

I had a great experience staying here! It was the perfect (and gorgeous) mini-getaway for me and my spouse + dogs. The hosts were communicative, friendly, and very clear with their instructions. All in all, a wonderful stay at this beautiful casita. Would definitely stay here again!

My friend and I (both women in our mid-twenties) loved staying with Monique for three nights. She was happy to accommodate our late arrival time and even let us stay longer on our final day. I especially enjoyed meeting her menagerie of animals and soaking in the desert sunrises and sunsets each day. Monique also gave us stellar local recommendations (including visiting the lovely nearby town of Madrid) and was an all-around fantastic host. The AirStream was very comfortable, even in the heat of the day (~80s) or the chillier nights (~40s). It’s also well-situated, about 20-30 minutes to Santa Fe and less than an hour to Albuquerque. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to other young folks traveling as couple or pair of friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a Leah's place that truly felt like a home away from home. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by cozy vibes and beautiful antique furniture that added a unique character to the space. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel even more welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the views of the Sandia Mountains!

Everything was exactly as it is in the listing; Juan and Patty were very communicative; and, the view of the mountains was wonderful!

Our family enjoyed staying at the yurt. It was very close to Mesa Verde National park and the town of Mancos where we found a great brewery and a great coffee shop. The yurt kitchen was perfect for making meals and enjoying them out on the deck where there are beautiful views.

Nice place to stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, but is a timeshare resort so they don't have any cooking oil or spices like many AirBnBs. The complimentary coffee was very good!

We had an excellent experience at the Bunkhouse! The horses in the pasture, the hummingbirds on the porch, the chickens, ducks, and pets - an overall quiet and peaceful Colorado country experience. Sue was an amazing host that was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She went out of her way to make sure we had all that we needed and more, and even had special treats and toys for our cat Flash. The Bunkhouse itself was very comfortable and had all the essential amenities, and the location offered easy short drives to Durango and Pagosa Springs. Can't recommend Sue's place enough!

This Airbnb was INCREDIBLE! The land was very scenic and peaceful. The house itself was beautiful and very cozy. We got to meet cooper (the owners cat who wanders the farm) and he was a very nice surprise. The heated floors kept us nice and warm from the fall cold. Jennifer was very quick to respond to any of our questions as well. This place is the perfect little get away from the busy city life but still close enough to do everything you’d want in Durango!

The location was wonderful. It was a very easy commute to Purgatory and into Durango for dinner. We had a large group and the home is very large and spread out so we felt like we had plenty of space with our large party. We had a couple of small issues in the home but Vita was quick to solve our concerns.

A quiet, private and beautiful farm house with a big secured back yard with surrounding farm animals. The house felt very comfortable and homey. Great place for children or a romantic getaway. Holly was an amazing host. She made sure we were comfortable and always answered messages. We will definitely be back!
