Tiny Home Boxcar Sanctuary 1898

MollyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
So nice we came back twice! Didn’t expect to return so soon but when an opportunity presented itself to re-visit Taos, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. In between commitments, it’s so lovely to settle into this sweet space for a quiet repose. We can’t say enough good things about the boxcar, its beautiful surroundings and generous hosts.

Stylish cottage in a beautiful canyon on the river

ErinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Kris and Cedric’s place was amazing. It is exactly as pictured - maybe better! The house is impeccably decorated, infused with local charm, and had everything we needed. We had complete privacy and the location is so peaceful. We used it as a launching point to do other things in the greater area but ended up doing a lot more in the immediate Dixon area than anticipated - all due to the information left by Kris and Cedric. They were also a dream in terms of communication. Can’t wait to come back!

Comfort in the woods “Los Vallecitos LLC”

CharityRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
So glad I booked this little place! I'm going through a difficult time and needed some solitude in nature for a bit, and this little cabin was perfect. Clean and tidy, even more cosy than the pictures showed, with the most stunning view. Carla was so nice and I had everything I needed. I've already had friends asking about this place and I've been sharing the link and spreading the word! Would definitely come again

Country Casita near Santa Fe, Los Alamos & Taos

LucieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The casita is lovely, clean and comfortable with lots of natural light, and feels safe. The kitchen is really well stocked and has everything that you might need to cook a meal. Julie and Scott are very welcoming, flexible, and easy to communicate with. The property itself is very cool, lots of room to walk around, even has access to a river. Would recommend to a friend!

Humming Grove Sanctuary East

WilliamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay here. We feel perfectly comfortable working with Melanie. We trust her and her husband, and we love their indoor and outdoor spaces. Their cottage feels clean to us, which is our primary interest. These hosts give you space, but they are also warm, nearby, and responsive when needed. We had another great stay!

Private Cabin on the Conejos River

LeslynRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The log cabin on the Conejos River is very rustic and in a beautiful setting. The cabin is comfortable and is as described. The river is literally in the front yard and is absolutely beautiful, even as it was icing over. We appreciated that this cabin is primarily for hunters and fishermen, so not too glitzy (as in no white carpet or other nonsense in this setting), which we prefer, as we have a big dog that is never clean after romping in the snow/mud/river, and we walk and hike so we often have muddy shoes/boots. It was clean and tidy, and just what we wanted for a weekend get-away. We cooked steaks over a wood fire and enjoyed the outdoor amenities-gas grill, wood/charcoal grill, fire pit, picnic tables, and chairs. Wifi worked great. Jim and Rhonda were the perfect hosts-available, but not intrusive. We visited over Thanksgiving weekend, 2024.

Lovely, responsive, and thoughtful hosts. The space was beautifully renovated and was perfect for our staycation. The farm animals (especially the friendly goat…wish I knew her name!) were the big hit with our 11 month old!! Thanks so much Meghan! Highly recommend! We had a great time!

Bougie TinyHome w Hot Tub 16 miles from Ski Valley

JustineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay at the bougie. Our favorite thing was being able to see so many stars from the hot tub which was nicely heated. We appreciated how reachable the hosts were because there were some little quirks to the heat, getting the stove and oven going and things like that. We did ask the host before our stay whether we would be the only people on property and they assured us we were visiting during busy ski season. The quiet and peacefulness is nice, but on our second night we were the only two people on property and it is fairly isolated/remote. As two women traveling alone, it was a concern that other guests may want to be aware of.

Desert Retreat House with Pool and Casita

KathyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
There were 5 women in our group, we were on a girls’ trip for 3 nights. The house, pool, patio and front porch were very clean. There were enough patio furniture for all 5 of us to lounge around on and eat at the outdoor dining area. The pool was the highlight, it was very clean and comfortable temperature. It was amazing. The front porch had enough seating for all 5 of us and we had our morning coffees and breakfasts there. Very serene. I would recommend this Airbnb and gladly stay there again. The host was very attentive and made sure we had a relaxing stay, which we did.

Lavender + Mountain Dreams: HGTV 50-Acre Ranch

TammiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Don't pass up the chance to stay in this amazing place! The house is so cozy and the view is beautiful - you'll see/hear all kinds of wildlife. We were here during winter so we didn't get to experience the lavender, but we woke up to a fresh 6/7 inches of snow and then watched it fall all day. The evening was just as beautiful with the string lights and the sauna overlooking the fields. Kitchen was great, plenty of supplies, quick communication, comfy beds and clean bathrooms, AND the host was flexible with our check in! I'd love to book again in warm weather...

We stayed here again on our return trip from AZ to CO! Again, everything was perfect and we felt well rested the morning we left! Will definitely look to spend more time here in the future! Los Lunas village was also very charming and our dinner at the Range Cafe was awesome!

Lucy, 1964 Airstream

AbbyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
My friend and I (both women in our mid-twenties) loved staying with Monique for three nights. She was happy to accommodate our late arrival time and even let us stay longer on our final day. I especially enjoyed meeting her menagerie of animals and soaking in the desert sunrises and sunsets each day. Monique also gave us stellar local recommendations (including visiting the lovely nearby town of Madrid) and was an all-around fantastic host. The AirStream was very comfortable, even in the heat of the day (~80s) or the chillier nights (~40s). It’s also well-situated, about 20-30 minutes to Santa Fe and less than an hour to Albuquerque. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to other young folks traveling as couple or pair of friends.

Mountain Cabin Retreat,Wi-Fi,Ski Sipapu,Solitude

DavidRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Here are the highlights: The mountain retreat had more indoor space than I expected. The buffalo room could sleep all our 5 kids, and there were plenty of toys, games, books, vhs tapes, and an organ for indoor fun. The Large dining room, large stocked kitchen, and the fireplace living room were so cozy and welcoming after a day of skiing. The covered parking was nice too. It takes about 30 minutes drive to get to Sipapu ski resort. Jim and his wife Marilou were super. They brought sleds and pie over and we spent one evening visiting with them. We enjoyed the fresh dry mountain air, and the well water. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and the place accommodated us easily. Note: There's a dirt drive for about 1/2 mile before you reach the home. We had limited cell service up there. The wifi worked great though. The refrigerator runs cold. You have to go through the first bedroom to get into the second bedroom Overall our vacation at the home was perfect for our family. Thank you!

MegRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Juan & Patty’s place is nearly perfect. Beautifully and thoughtfully laid out, with small touches (like a tea kettle and kitchen that can be actually cooked in), private garden in the rear, and stunning view of a mountain out the front door. A terrific place to land for a week.

CASITA ROSE Historic Adobe 2 Br Home in Placitas

ChristineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Amazing home in Placitas! Rebecca's place was cozy, comfortable + equipped with everything you needed to feel right at home. The two bedrooms on opposite sides of the house makes for a wonderful stay for 2 couples, friends, or family members. I loved having such a spacious, fenced-in yard for my dog. Not to mention the thoughtful touches like towels at the door if their paws got muddy, or water/food bowls as well. Safety is very important to me as a frequent solo female traveler, so the private location + gated parking spot was an added bonus. Rebecca is a great host + I'd recommend her bungalow to others.
