very nice place... tastefully furnished we thought we were at home. Guilaine is very discreet but present by thoughtful SMS.

Everything was perfect! Really nice location to go cycling and hiking. Perfect spot to brunch in the garden with a nice view. Also the communication was very easy and helpful.

This place is completely magical. We felt so privileged to be able to find something so remote and unique to spend a few days. The garden was beautiful, we were invited to pick veggies from the garden which were delicious. The kids had a great time running around the garden up and back from the river. It is a peaceful beautiful paradise. We were very sad to leave, and hope to come back!

What a fantastic place! I had the most amazing couple of days in the long house, with stunning views friendly people and stars that lit up the sky. I would recommend to anyone looking for an escape from reality! Can't wait to book up again! Thanks again for making this the most magical time away!

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

The place is secluded, quiet at the end of a long track that gives the feeling of arriving at the end of the world. That that what we were looking for. Thomas and his daughter welcomed us warmly among the animals that make up the animation of this estate. The accommodation is well equipped and we were able to make a flare up in this mid-season. Recommended if you want to be quiet and sleep well. Good winds to Thomas and his animals!

We spent 2 very pleasant nights, the place is very close to nature, great walks at the direct departure from the accommodation. The horses and donkeys on site make our daughters happy. Close to the skin safari. We have rented several times to go to the safari, but we will no longer search and we will be back here with great pleasure:)

We loved this weekend with the family, in this beautiful, well-equipped and ideally located cottage. We particularly appreciated the little extras Odette kindly put at our disposal: Firewood, sheets and towels provided, beds made upon arrival, it's a real comfort. Odette is a perfect host, very kind, discreet and accommodating. We'll definitely be back. Thank you Odette.

Such a beautiful and creative space that is home to the comfiest bed we ever slept on! There were so many thoughtful festive touches that made it the perfect getaway. Nicola was a great host and we can’t wait to come back some day :)

hosts have been flexible on check-in and checkout times and understanding. They understood our need and adapted to us, it was perfect. Clean and well-equipped accommodation, parking spaces in front of the accommodation. It went very well!

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed every moment. The lodge was very clean and well equipped. Dan is a great host and was quick to respond to messages including providing restaurant recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Nicole's cottage is a peaceful cocoon, with a neat and warm decoration. Staying there is to treat yourself to a bubble of tranquility, apart from everything, and appreciate the authenticity of the natural setting that surrounds us.

Absolutely lovely hobbit house in the middle of the vineyard. The house itself is stunning with very sweet features such as the copper pipes throughout, natural wood finishes and a kitchen full of modern amenities, topped off with luxuries such as wine from the vineyard and a hot tub.

Beautiful place in a beautiful area! Joaquin’s place is really unique and cozy.

Burnbrae Byre is an absolute haven. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped with everything you could need for a short or longer term stay. The utility with washer/dryer and freestanding bath were an added bonus! The surroundings were stunning and very peaceful with many walks out the door and a great base for exploring the local area. Alison is incredibly attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing stay! A super cute place and a perfect location to walk to the beach and then come back for a cozy afternoon in front of the log burner! Me and my partner aren’t that tall and the bed was fine for us but could imagine could be tight if you’re tall. Kitchen was well equipped and had a lovely dinner in after a trip to the farm shop (that had been recommended!). A perfect place for an escape - thank you!

The place is so lovely - wooden and built with attention and care in beautiful surroundings. Lots of beaches close by. Celine is warm and lovely, makes you feel very safe and welcome.

Anne was friendly and welcoming, great local knowledge and recommendations. The location is secluded and private, but just a short drive to local amenities and connections to Edinburgh. The place was clean and tidy, and had everything you could need for your trip :)

If I could give more than five stars I would. Anslow Shires is beautiful and the photos do not do it justice. We stayed for two nights and loved every minute of our stay, the decor is stunning, and it is so clean. Every little detail has been thought of. We stayed whilst there was a storm and it was so cosy and warm inside. It is so quiet and the outlook to the fields are beautiful. We will definitely be coming back

Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views. High-end products used throughout. Lovely touches like bathrobes, slippers and dry robes. Was definitely luxury. Well appointed kitchen. We ate in as you would need to drive if you went out. We liked that though because we made good use of the facilities and hot tub. Would highly recommend.

what an absolute gem , Lou has worked so hard to make this little cob what it is , creative , quirky and full of character . lou is so friendly and helpful and rhe breakfast was beautifully presented. would definitely go back ,cute dog lady was also very welcoming. thank you 😊

If you love tranquility and the Garden of Eden, this is the place. A great rural property with a tasteful place to stay. But you are also quickly at the supermarket, you can visit a Roman villa, Beja and definitely the National Park around Mertola. Great scenery! And there is even a swimming beach nearby. We extended it right away, thank you Maria Ana for letting us be your guests. Absolutely recommend!

The hosts were very friendly and tried to meet all expectations. This has been absolutely surpassed. We were immediately offered to use the sauna and since we were the only guests, of course, we gratefully accepted:) Here, the landlords create a wonderful vacation spot that invites you to linger. Thank you for everything.

We can really recommend spending some time in Hobbiton! Our little hobbit hole was so cute and cosy, it felt like being in one of the LOTR-movies! The hot tub was a big plus, even when it took many hours to heat up, we enjoyed spending a lot of time in it. Especially in the morning or after the sunset, when it was colder outside. Inside we had everything we needed for two nights and it was all clean and the interior done with lots of love for the details. The hobbiton is still in growing and we would be interested to see how it develops. The area outside of it is not much to see, but the hobbit cave has enough to offer just to enjoy your time there. Marija was all the time very fast in answering if we had questions. Would recommend if you want to experience some LOTR in real life!
