Middle Fork Luxury Tent

Absolutely loved staying here. Beautiful landscape outside your tent, breakfast on the balcony , lunch on the beach and dinners in the boma. Rasheed is great, always willing to help with a smile and and had a lovely chat with the Theresa about the farm history. We had lovely weather but there is always some wind which is great for those super hot days. Tent itself even in direct sun is always cool and been told in cooler months the evenings can get chilly. Do suggest a 4x4 so you can head to the beach and back when you want however rasheed is available to take you back and forth as well. Overall and great stay and look forward to visiting again!

Tortoise Terrace - The Storytellers, Rocklands

Tracy-LeighRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful surroundings! We stayed at the Tortoise Terrace and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation had everything we needed for a magical stay, being off the grid and right under the stars in nature, but with the luxury of hot showers in your own private bathroom and a comfortable bed is a win! It's a short walk to the dam, where we often swam. We hiked to the Waterfall, with incredible views along the way, and great to hop into and cool off. We stayed over the Easter weekend and it was a brilliant location for the many Easter egg hunts we held for our 5 year old. Loved that it's pet friendly and safe. We will definitely be back!

wow, the stay at Yvonne's luxury tent was beyond amazing. We had such a good time and were able to walk to our own private waterfall and bath up there in the mountains. We can really recommend to anyone looking for a romantic/ private get away in the nature. Also thank you so much for your shuttle service and picking us up so we were able to get to your farm. everything worked out perfectly. we will be back!

Inibos Selfcatering_Karee

Lovingly & beautifully secluded set up glamping site in the heart of Karoo.. with big heart hospitality and serene area with sheep glazing nearby...and a beautiful pool to dip your feet and body in cool water. Watching sunset and admiring sunrise with the chorus of birds singing their heart out... what more can we ask for? It is a place of rest, delight and tranquility. Each tent/caravan has its own braai area and shower/toilet - it is next to each other but the shady trees gave us plenty of privacy. Elzanne and Nellis were so friendly, kind and amazing owners of this beautiful accommodation. She communicated well beforehand, sent us a pin of the location. Everything in this site is lovingly and tastefully made, built and decorated. Breeze at night through the tent was perfect and the solar powered fan, fridge and microwave are also neatly set inside the tent. We ordered braai pack and had breakfast in the farmhouse garden which we highly recommend. We can't wait to come back!

Leopard Valley: Waboom Protea Glamping Tent

I made an error in our booking but Craigs team were very accommodating. We ended up staying in the caravans which are on their own secluded spot. The outside amenities have been very well done. There is an amazing outdoor bathroom and great braai area. But the stand out feature was the outdoor private bath down a little walkway through the tall grasses with views of the mountains. My son loved the little plunge pool which was very welcome during the heat of the day. Because there is no one else around the stars at night are incredible. The caravans themselves are basic but have what you need to have a comfortable glamping holiday.
