Stayed in Chungchung’s place for four nights with my family and it was a blissful experience. What is most striking is the near perfect cleanliness of the place. The comfortable white spotless bed linens and the tasty homemade food prepared by Ms. Chungchung was enough to make our stay one of the most memorable. Chungchung’s place has remained etched in memory as a feeling of warm white softness surrounded by clouds and mists with occasional dollops of sunshine. Highly recommend this perfect homestay in Gangtok away from the jungle of hotels near M.G. Market of Gangtok, though its location in Bojoghari is around eight kilometers from the city centre and commute is possible through share taxis only. But again, the location of this place at a walkable distance from the Tashi Viewpoint and the Gonjang Monastery (you can see Chungchung’s home from the monastery terrace) makes it ideal for those who do not want to miss the city vibes but is away from its hustle and bustle.

It was a great stay at Tausif’s place. The rooms were very clean, and most amenities were available. If you’re a group of six people using three rooms, I can tell you it’s the best deal—a very budget-friendly option. Also, the owner is very nice and always available to help you. We really enjoyed staying there and highly recommend it!

Staying at this charming apartment was delightful. The cozy one-bedroom setup, complete with a living room, small but well-equipped kitchen, and spotless bathroom, felt just right. The kitchen had a microwave oven, refrigerator, and water filter, which were very convenient. Located centrally, it was easy to get around the city. The host was incredibly helpful and attentive, providing thoughtful amenities like a nail cutter and an iron. The beautiful balcony was a highlight, offering a peaceful spot to relax. This place truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

It was overall an amazing and a unique experience at Baruah's inn. The location was perfect, near to Uzan Bazar and the Brahmaputra river. Coming to the rooms, we were five of us and we had a unique and an intriguing experience. The host had a unique taste of arts and artefacts placed in the room and we had quite a time exploring everything, albiet cautiously. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we came back with lots of stories and experiences to share with our friends.

Was 2nd time I stayed at Sukanya's place and she was very helpful and sweet as before. Wish i could see her and her family in person this time like last year, but wasnt able to and loved the caretaking staff. Again i highly recommend this listing and the family is amazing and sincere.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. As a family of four, we spent two nights here and had an amazing experience. The property is new, impeccably maintained, and feels fresh and inviting. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all the necessary kitchenware and utensils. The balcony offers stunning views, and the society’s amenities are excellent. The location is unbeatable—right on the highway near Biswa Bangla Gate. A special mention goes to Mahendra Das, the property manager, who was incredibly responsive and just a phone call away. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Great place to go with family...

I stayed with my parents. starting from bookingbthe place till I checked out it was a very smooth journey. The host is very responsive . This house in on 1st floor in a residential area so you hear the hustle bustle which is very pleasant and feels like home. the house has all the amenities one might need for family/friends. Great restaurants are available nearby . Cabs are also available. Zepto/Blinkit is also available. overall we had a great stay and it was value for money. I strongly recommend this place for folks who are visiting kolkata and want to explore the city.

Dr. Azmir is an excellent host, communication is great. After couple of texts , I sensed that I can trust, it worked out. He accepted my request of early check in 2 am. Place is clean, fully private. Apartment is in a new building, elevator worked, AC worked. Condo complex inside is secured. Fully furnished. 25 minutes car drive from airport. I will go back.

Value for money, enjoyed our stay. Good Connectivity to IITG and you can avoid city trafic.
