We stayed at Trevor’s for our last stop over before heading back on the Spirit of Tasmania. We all loved the house, it was clean and very homely and the view out to the river was lovely. We made use of the kayaks and enjoyed some fishing on the jetty. The house had everything you needed and only a 5 minute drive to the Spirit of Tasmania made it a hassle free morning. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer.

We always enjoy our stay here. The home is fitted out with all the amenities and appliances that you could possibly need! The cottage is so beautifully clean and tidy. Perfect location for going for a walk with the dogs, riding bikes on the nice and flat pathways. Everything is considered when you stay at Picnic Point! The secure backyard holds outdoor equipment for the young (or young at heart!) as well as an undercover entertaining BBQ area. Communication with the owner is such a breeze! Thank you so much for opening your home up to us! We can’t wait for our next stay!

Holiday happiness in Hawley. We were looking forward a nice place to spend a few days whilst attending a friend’s wedding in Hawley. We were super lucky that Liz’s place was available because it was a stunning walk along the esplanade to the wedding venue. We could go for a swim, or a lovely walk in the local area and arrive back to a huge bathroom, bright and relaxing living spaces, and a great kitchen. Both bedrooms, bathrooms and the outdoor spaces are so generous. It’s great value for a feel of coastal luxury.

Our group of friends (3 adult couples) had a beautiful, relaxing weekend. The house was easy to access, clean and comfortable, nice and close to the beach and the shops but also very peaceful. Lovely spacious rooms, we loved the huge couch and big dining table, the house was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you!

Love this place - Heather and Richard are fabulous hosts and their place is a gorgeous home in a lovely relaxing setting by the beach- this is our 2nd visit here for our family of 5 and we will be back again .

Wow what a fabulous place to stay! Everything was amazing especially the views from every room including the bathroom! The ocean was right at the end of the garden and the moon shining through the trees and onto the water was a perfect way to lie in bed and drop off to sleep! Within minutes to Penguin one way and Ulverstone the other way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Katherine 😁

We (2adults, 2 kids) absolutely loved our stay. We had Cabin 9 and the views were spectacular, the location private and the cabin comfy. We visited the mine on John's land and saw the spiders. We did many day trips and enjoyed coming back to a cozy cabin with jacuzzi. Thanks again John

Had the most wonderful stay , defiantly be back , so close to family and friends , plenty of room to entertain , lovely comfortable furnishings & easily accessible to the Highway and town , was a great base .
