Vacation rentals with lake access in North Troms

We were there as a family of 4. The house is well maintained, modernly furnished, the furnishings have everything you need. The location is nicely quiet, about 30 min from the city. We saw the best aurora lights right from the house. Marit is a very nice and friendly host, we felt comfortable right from the beginning. We would book this house again any time, unfortunately we only had 5 days there, still have aurbers on 2 days seen. Thank you for everything.

We've had an amazing stay at Høyrostua! The place is simply perfect to spend a couple of days and rewind. The place is quiet, clean, spacious and relaxing. If you are into skiing, it's a ski in, ski out place so perfect! The kitchen is really well equiped, big and clean. We've seen amazing Northern Lights and you can even watch it from inside through all the big windows. Communication with Øyvind is really good! Very fast as well. Thank you so much Øyvind and Hege!

The hosts were amazing — very responsive, very attentive. We were incredibly happy with our stay. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. Great option for families with kids.

One special, homey and nice house. I thought it was better than the pictures showed. Great communication with Elin who followed up on all the questions we had. Please note that there are no electric car charger here as it is stated in the listing. We tried to charge from the outside outlet, but then the power went away.

We had an amazing stay at this home. It was so beautiful and cosy and equipped with everything we needed. Great value for money and in the most perfect serene location. We prefer to stay outside of the main cities and towns so this place worked a dream for us. Waking up and looking over the fjords and mountains everyday was truly breathtaking. I would 100% recommend this stay to anyone considering visiting Tromso. The hosts were super helpful and friendly too.

its a great place to stay

This has to be one of the best accommodations I've ever been. You'll need a car because it takes more than a hour from Tromsø. But out of the crowds it is very very peaceful and quite. Pack your foods, stay for some while with no plans. That's everything you need.

We had a wonderful time at Thomas's house. We were there over Christmas and it was so lovingly decorated for Christmas, everything is there what you need, very clean and tidy, great equipment and cozily warm. Thomas and Juliane were always very quickly accessible, gave us tips and information and were super helpful. We were there with 6 people and enjoyed the time very much. His house is highly recommended, especially for people who would like to stay a little further out, because the drive into town takes about an hour depending on the weather. The surroundings are beautiful and on the balconies you have a fantastic view and can even see the northern lights from there. A big thank you for the wonderful time.

Great little place to stay in especially if you are a solo traveler. Right near the bus stop and it’s about a 10 minute bus ride into town.

Amazing one night at Ola's house! Good location-15mins driving to airport; guide us the destination to witness the northern light at that night. All perfect!

Very clean, very cozy, very precise instructions. You need an app to get in, which was fairly easy to use. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the comfort :)

Our stay at Annas place was great- its a brilliant distance away from the town and there are always taxi’s available if you need one. The accommodation was clean and tidy and had all the utensils you’d need for an easy stay. There arent many negatives about this place- the bed is very small but my partner is 6 foot 4 which doesnt help matters! The wifi also didnt work on the Smart Telly- this wasnt a deal breaker for us. There was quite a lot of banging above us and the television upstairs was quite loud but this ceased at 11pm which was just fine for us. All in all the space was great and staying at Anna’s made our first stay in Tromso a fabulous one to remember. Thanks Anna 🩷

We had an absolutely amazing stay in this apartment in Tromsø, which is even prettier in reality than in the photo. The sea view is simply breathtaking, offering a panorama that makes every moment magical. The addition of the hot tub and sauna with direct access to the sea made our stay even more special and relaxing. The location of the apartment is perfect, very accessible whether by bus or on foot for charming walks. The host was extremely welcoming and provided us with great tips for discovering the best things to do in the area. We would highly recommend this apartment for an unforgettable experience in Tromsø!

Overall a great place! The place was extremely clean and tidy! The bathroom was amazing, it was extremely comfortable and was just what was needed! The place was always at the perfect temperature too! Finally, the host was extremely helpful and answered any questions straight away! Thank you for a great stay!

Had a great time at Eirik's! The accommodation was perfectly as described, clean, well-equipped and perfectly located. The welcome was warm, and the communication with the host was smooth and enjoyable. Eirik is very helpful and does not hesitate to let you know if the Northern Lights are visible. Great location, about 20 mins walk to city center. Host is responsive which is great when we faced some issues with the light in the room.

We just came back from vacation at Joruns house and we are still overwhelmed 😇❤️. Joruns house is incredibly amazing - if you are looking for an authentic, cozy norwegian home, you have come to the right place here at Joruns house. It is exactly as described in the description, or even better - sooo "koselig og hyggelig" 😇. The house itself is nice and big, as is the kitchen, the bathroom, the garden, terrace and balcony. Despite the freezing temperatures, we were welcomed into a comfortably warm house and were able to have a flexible check-in and check-out 🙏🏻. The surroundings are simply breathtaking. We saw the northern lights from the garden and from the house - a dream. Jorun was a wonderful hostess, she made us bread and other homemade food so we could enjoy a typical Norwegian meal. She is warm-hearted and easy to reach at any time. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend a stay - thank you Jorun, you are a superduperhost ❤️.

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful house of Svetlana. Beautiful views. Stayed there far too short. Beautiful trips made, seen the northern lights. The surroundings are like a fairy tale. Svetlana is very helpful and involved

What a dream spot! We had wonderful days at Frode’s cabin. So much fun for our 4 small kids with a huge garden, far from trafficked road, zip line and a very nice pier with a lovely location for swimming, exploring and SUPing. The cabin was spacious, well equipped and a tasteful mix of old and new design. We can’t wait to go back!

I spent about two weeks at the cabin and it was a wonderful home base! Comfortable, heated floors, hiking trails starting right behind the house, and amazing views of water and Husfjellet across so I could see what conditions to expect when hiking there, which is very helpful in November :) Elisabeth was very welcoming and responsive, and overall it was a really nice experience!
