Beachfront vacation rentals in North Stradbroke Island

We were delighted to have such a peaceful and private place to rest. Kirill had everything you needed to feel at home. We definately will come again.

We loved our stay at Frenchman's Folly. The cottage is homely, comfortable and very well equipped. It is fully fenced and is very well located at Point Lookout: close to beaches, shops, cafes and the pub. Lots of wallabies and birds to observe and wonderful walks to be had. There's a decent bus service, so with or without a car is fine. Linda is a great host too!

Beautiful house, peaceful and great ocean views and breezes. We were very much at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it rained most of the weekend!

Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

Renne, our host, is such a warm and humorous person. He patiently waited for our arrival, introduced us to this spotless and cozy room, and shared tips about the beautiful surroundings, including must-visit attractions and local delicacies. The location is perfect—close to the scenic waterfront promenade—and the area is peaceful and quiet at night, making it an ideal place to stay. What made our experience even more special was the bonfire gathering last night. Renne generously treated us to beer, invited me to try a Cuban cigar, and we had a lovely chat. He even gave my son thoughtful advice on getting along with his mum ❤️ (our 13-year-old is in his rebellious phase). It was one of the most delightful evenings we’ve ever had. If we return, this will undoubtedly be our top choice. I truly hope we can become friends.

We had a great time at Pat’s retreat. The house had everything we needed for a family beach holiday with our dog. It is very well-equipped and comfortable. The location is close to everything in Point Lookout- beaches, shops, and walkable to the start of North Gorge walk. We only used the car to transport all our beach gear down but you can certainly walk to everything. For us, Straddie is not a place to go when you want good Internet access. It is a place to have good nature based quality time with the family. We love having no Wifi and being able to switch off. There was enough mobile data to check the weather and the ferry timetable. Thanks Christine for a great stay!

What a perfect space for a couple. Absolutely loved our stay here, right across from the beach and a Koala in the tree next door. With every single amenity and supply you could think of - and the best coffee machine that I've ever seen at an airbnb. Will definitely book again!

My second visit to Patrick’s’ delightful, clean, peaceful, courteous airb&b. The bayside location is perfect for Brisbane if you’re looking for peace and fresh sea air. I just love this place and will be booking again next year when I return to visit my daughter and her family in Brisbane. A real home from home. Absolutely 5 🌟

Our stay was Superb. Great location within minutes drive to the Harbour, waterfront and quality plus restaurants. Russell's house had everything you could possibly require. A full size refrigerator, latest coffee machine, all TV services and best of all the huge pool in the back yard. Crystal clear with lovely bushland out back. It was so relaxing and tranquil. I can't believe how relaxed I feel. Hassle free check in and check out. The nicest people and place I've come across in a long time. I would recommend this stay to everyone. Great stay here. Exactly as described. A tiny home but clean, comfortable and the added on deck had such a lovely view to relax and enjoy.

Awesome location, beautiful apartment with everything you need

Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. We were two couples and there was plenty of room. Quite pricey, but an enjoyable stay and the pool was great for a cooling off dip. Very clean and modern. Lovely cool wind off the ocean at night. The bedrooms are upstairs, so don’t book if stairs are an issue.

Holly was a great host. The house was so peaceful and perfect. We stayed as a family But is a great layout for group bookings with the bedroom/bathroom layouts. Kayaks, bikes included making exploring easy. Will 100% be back. Highly recommend.

Except for a couple of little things like a leaking shower… everything was excellent. The place, the location and the area.

Location couldn’t be better. You’ve got an amazing view at all times plus you can walk to Wynnum and Manly very easily. The apartment is well maintained and looked after and Kim was a great host.

Lindy was lovely, excellent communication and nice place. I would book again.

It was such an amazing experience! We thought there needed to be wifi or even some sort of an internet booster. The kids wanted to watch some movies on the rainy day and weren’t able to get any download.

A really great stay. Easy walk-up stairs to the apartment. Great view in such a good location. Michael had the place so clean & stocked with really helpful "extra's". The extra little incidental items were such a help. Normal things you just reach for at home, Michael had on hand. Lots of pillows and blankets, plates, glasses, cooking utensils - everything. Aircon was lovely and cool. All appliances worked and were clean. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Special mention to the Christmas Tree & box of choccies in the fridge! Definitely recommend.
