Beautiful lake with private jetty. The terrace is separated by a windbreak so that you can sit outside and enjoy the view even when it's windy. The spacious accommodation offers enough space for eight people and the kitchen is clean and modern. The highlight is the large sauna with a direct view of the lake. We are looking forward to coming back

We spent 5 nights at Erik‘s place and it simpley was an amazing time. If you want to enjoy nature and take a break from hectic every day life, this is the right place to go! Also the outdoor sauna was a very cool experience :) 10/10 would recommend!

This place is well equipped and has all the tools you need for your stay.

Tassia's estate is characterized by a natural complex between forest, creeks and large meadow. The distances between the main house, sauna and jetty may be a little further than usual. But you can enjoy a lot of space and openness. Jetty, rowing boat and sauna are in good condition and functional. There is no material for fishing, etc. However, we can confirm the rich fish in the lake. The house is well equipped. In the kitchen you will find the most important things (various pans, coffee flask machine, French press, etc.). A base of spices, oil and vinegar is not or hardly available. We enjoyed the stay very much and maybe it is due to the openness that the "mosquito infestation" has kept within very narrow limits. Apéro and breakfast on the dock were always possible. We wish Tassia all the best and many more enthusiastic guests!

Very nice accommodation. We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is lots of space. The lake is very near and it is not far to the town center. Definitely recoomendet.

Amazing place. We stayed for one night, but definitely worth staying longer. There are many activities to do right there on the island, and a couple National Parks within driving distance to hike or mountainbike. The house was very clean, had all the needed amenities and very well furnished. We particularly enjoyed that upstairs in the bedroom there is a window with a mosquito net, so that we could leave it open during the night and not get hot or have to deal with mosquitos. Has a sauna and the front door id right by a lake so can go for a swim whenever you want. Since we booked it last minute and didn't read the listing that thoroughly, I was very pleasantly suprised that breakfast is included! A very good deal! Overall it was a great stay and we are definitely staying here again if we are in the region.

A clean and clever apartment with everything you need, only the biowaste trash was missing. The apartment is great for a couple or small group. Smooth communication with the renter. I would come again.

Tero's place matched the photos, nice decor, great view of the slopes, walkable to all activities and restaurants. Easy to check in and out, with good timings. We visited out of skiing season (early October) so it was deadly quiet in the area, very peaceful, but with that not a huge amount of open options. I'm sure in season it's a very lively place! Would well recommend this place for in-season for its location and out-of-season for its beauty and peacefulness. Only suggestions: Couple of furniture fixtures need correcting (tightening up) and could have an instruction manual to fire-place/sauna which may be useful for other tourists (I was with Finnish family so not a problem for us, but I could see some issues if English/European visitors were staying).

Recent 2 bedroom apartment in the surroundings of the archipelago city of Kuopio. Great views on the 5th floor. All the equipment is there, very clean. A small sauna is a plus. Everything went great.

A tidy stay suitable for our adult family of four and a small dog. Less than 100 meters to the store. Services nearby and 500m to the shore of the lake, from there to the ski or across the lake to the elevator. 300m to the nearest ski track. All amenities including sauna and drying cabinet.

A standard place to stay that became familiar during the summer. It felt like coming home. It was nice to note that there were more coat racks and mirrors on the walls. This place never fails!

We had a really lovely stay here at Villa Karhu in the winter. We were a group of 6 friends and the house offered more than enough space for all of us. The location is absolutely amazing, with the surrounding nature being really peaceful and quiet. You have absolut privacy and won't disturb others or be disturbed by anyone, yet it is still easy to reach. Can recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a few relaxing days enjoying the beautiful nature!

The lingonberry is in a great location by the lake. For three families, passel spaces. Plus a big kitchen! Everyone could fit breakfast, and there were plenty of dishes and other cooking utensils. We can highly recommend.

Great rental! Despite the -37-degree outdoor temperature, the chalet remains very comfortable, warm and cozy! Beautiful sauna and beautiful lake and forest views! Hoping to return someday! Thank you so much, kiitos.

Beautiful place and surroundings. if you live nature and enjoy with your friends and family, then this is exactly what you are looking for.

This wonderful place is surrounded by nature and conveniently located just 10 minutes from Iisalmi. The host was very kind and tried to help us in all kinds of situations. The rooms had good, firm mattresses and were well-shaded. The TV is huge, and there is an H&K Onyx 6 portable speaker. There is a separate grilling house with all the devices you might need. A personal boat for four people (with two oars) is available for exploring Paloisjärvi. The internet connection was good enough for video conferences, so we were able to work from there, though it wasn't sufficient for 1080p video streaming (720p worked well). We found a lot of bilberries around, but be prepared for a blood donation to the local mosquito community if you go to the forest. It’s a great place to spend a week, and we will definitely be back!
