Family-friendly vacation rentals in North Hero

Antique home with fenced in yard, updated bathrooms and appliances, and indoor hot tub was perfect for my family of 5 plus dog. We appreciated being a little outside of the hustle and bustle of Stowe on a busy tourist weekend, but still accessible and allowed us to explore many of the trails, breweries, restaurants, and farm stands outside of town, which was great and a more authentic Vermont experience. This is a very beautiful cabin! The photos definitely do not do it justice. The hot tub on the porch underneath the big trees was divine.

LOVED our stay! The house had everything we needed and very private. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

We were hosting a wedding at Bliss Ridge and Doug’s home was spacious and nearby. The view and home are amazing. Doug assisted us with details around furniture and catering and Alex was an attentive caretaker. The kitchen had EVERYTHING and there was plenty of seating, comfy places to sit and a terrific game room.

Our group enjoyed a wonderful stay! The home exceeded our expectations and had so many great amenities. Our host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

This was our third stay at the Brookside, and it’s still wonderful! The space and location are fantastic and Doug is a great communicator and host. It’s super cozy, clean, spacious, and well stocked with cooking necessities. The hot tub is a great feature and doesn’t trick after a day of skiing or Lake Placid sightseeing. We look forward to returning.

Sky Acres was the perfect place for our two families to spend our annual ski trip. The house is spotless and very well-equipped. We loved sitting in the hot tub after a day of skiing, lounging by the fireplace, the large selection of games and the downstairs area where the kids could hang out. There was always someone available to help if we had any questions. We loved it!

my wife and I stayed here and everything about our trip was amazing !! we loved the location, very secluded with amazing views, the house itself was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Susan is an amazing host, she’s very friendly and responds well ((: highly recommend staying here !!

Daveo was a great host. This was the perfect spot for our friends, kids and dogs! We stayed on New Years Eve and were able to see the Stowe mountain and town fireworks from the living room and deck! It was a great, cozy, space for a family getaway and ski weekend!

My family does a family ski weekend and this home was a perfect home away from home. We ate locally the first night at a restaurant. We made a family style home cooked meal in the beautiful kitchen. Family fun with games after. Sheri and Todd were very responsive and provided local recommendations. Highly recommend this house and host!

This was our families first time to Vermont, and this little place was great. It was private and peaceful, and supremely beautiful in the snow. It was a lovely place to unwind at the end of each day after exploring and hiking in snowy Vermont. We took full advantage of the full size fridge and stove/oven and were able to cook everyday if we wanted. There was TV to watch movies and a portable crib for our infant to sleep in, which was great! We also loved the hot tub- it was magnificent in the snow. The one thing that was rough was the beds- we did not sleep well on the beds. They were very small for a couple (double) to sleep in together and even harder to snuggle with our kids. We Would love to come back next year and find a queen or king size cozy bed- it would make the entire stay perfect! We would highly recommend this location in the winter, especially in the snow. I’m sure it is just as lovely in the other seasons. We would stay again in the future.

This is our second time staying at Lynda's place, and we could not be happier to return. the house is adorable, kitchen has all necessities (pots/pans - we brought our own food/condiments/water), bedrooms are clean and warm, have all new pillows, comforters, bathrooms are clean. it's a great location too , just a few minutes from Whiteface, and about half an hour from ADK Loj/ Mt Hoevenburg. thank you for sharing your home with us ❤️

Ideal for a quiet escape to the Vermont woods with a dog. Close enough to Morrisville and Stowe for supplies, but still feels like a retreat. The cabin had delightful character and lots of relaxing space. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking (pans, toaster, etc). We loved being able to let the dog explore the back yard. It snowed while we were there and the access road was plowed quickly (enough for my sedan with only minimal snow tires to drive out).

Beautiful Cabin in the majestic town of Keene. Place is exactly as described. Very easy to get to. Julie was very much responsive to all our questions. It was very cold(in single digits Fahrenheits) in the Adirondaks throughout our stay but the Cabin was always warm and toasty. Our toddler enjoyed the snow in the yard. We spent most of our time in Lake Placid which is a short drive away so couldn't explore Keene much. May be next time.

Very gracious and responsive host and the cost is a great deal for what you get! We enjoyed her large selection of books and magazines and the house is the perfect place for cozily sinking into the books. The house is decorated beautifully 😍 and it was perfect for our romantic honeymoon. We also really appreciated her allowing us to bring our cat and chihuahua, and the house is extremely cat-friendly with cat toys and even a cat door that leads to a laundry room, our cat has never seen a cat door and she definitely enjoyed it! Our dog was very comfortable as well

Susan’s lake cottage was such a peaceful place for us to stay with our young baby and dog while in the area visiting family. The views are outstanding! Susan was responsive and accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again in the future, and we look forward to coming back in the warmer weather and checking out the causeway a little more - it’s so convenient to the cottage!

Exactly as advertised. Very cozy for two people for a nice mountain getaway. No view of the mountains, but a short drive into the town of Stowe. Would be lovely to return for a ski weekend.

We had a great long weekend here! Condo was within walking distance of a trail and place was so cozy!

Very beautiful environment, and the AirBnB was much more than what my wife and I expected! Would definitely recommend to anyone considering booking! And will definitely book again the next time we plan a Vermont trip

Cathy’s place was very nice. Clean and great location. Would definitely stay again. Our stay was short so we did not use the center facilities but looked nice.

We needed an extra space for family members during Thanksgiving and Rebecca’s place was perfect for my son and daughter in law. They were able to bring their dog which was an added bonus.

Beautiful waterfront getaway! Went for a skiing trip to Bromont. The house was an hour to Montreal and an hour to the mountain so it was perfect.

Beautiful cozy feel to Leslie’s home. So appreciate the water bottles she provided in response to the water problems.

The house was large and comfortable. The location was an easy drive to the village. The driveway to the house is steep and you need an AWD or four wheel drive but the driveway is kept plowed. There is ample parking in the driveway for at least four cars. There was a table for eating in both the kitchen and dining rooms.
